    Project Name : BUS IDENTIFICATION FOR THE BLIND USING RFID


    Team Size :4
    My role : Team leader,collection of information,documentation work.
    Description : The project is a blind navigation system based on RADIO FREQUENCY
    IDENTIFICATION. The system consists of 1) RFID tag placed in the bus which has information
    about the bus number,starting and destination,routes.2) portable reader which can be integrated
    into blind cane. 3)mobile phone,call centre and center information services. Using this system
    the blind are able to know their location,vicinity buildings, inquire about the optimal routes to
    their destination and available vehicles.

    Scholastic / Academic Achievements

     Presented paper on ECHO CANCELLATION IN WIRELESS TELEPHONY and was


    appreciated.
     Participated in JA Titan conducted by DELOITTE as a part of ACUMEN at VASAVI
    COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.
     Participated in district level inter-school Science quiz competition conducted by AP
    SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COUNCIL at KNR in team and won 1st prize.
     Participated in Science fair at my school and won 1st prize for my exhibit.
     Received appreciation certificate from ANNAMAYYA CULTURAL ACADAMY,
    KARIMNAGAR for securing good score in SSC.
