BELL 429 THROTTLE SETUP.

RPM should be set to 100% on EICAS before take-off.

Normal operation between 95 and 104%.
Auto/104 switch on collective will increase 100% to 104% when 100% set.

Here are three examples of how to setup throttle control.

METHOD ONE :-
No throttle sliders, using keys F1 and F2.
Open Joystick & Equipment.

Ensure throttle not set as a slider.

Open 412 plugin and ensure Enable hardware throttle(s) not ticked.
Now you can use F1 and F2 too control both throttles or click on up/down also
arrows on centre of collective control. You can program any toggle switch
to :-
sim/engines/throttle_up
sim/engines/throttle_down

METHOD TWO :-
Single slider as throttle.

Open 412 plugin and ensure Enable hardware throttle(s) ticked.

When changing setup a re-start of X-Plane is required before setting take effect.

METHOD THREE :-
Two sliders as throttle 1 and 2.

Open 412 plugin and ensure Enable hardware throttle(s) ticked.

Tick Both in Hardware throttle is

When set as two separate throttles you need to be able to increase both throttles together or
you will have problems matching torques and end up chasing needles.

Changing setup a re-start of X-Plane is required before setting take effect.
