The Compression Set Isolation FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
Packer (CLT / CLTP) is run on a
second trip to isolate leaks at the
liner top. The CLT is used after the
liner has been run, cemented and
the liner tieback receptacle seal bore
cleaned out. The CLT seals into the
existing liner tieback receptacle and
is set with compression, sealing the
annular area between the liner and

casing. It also provides a new tieback
receptacle for future operations.
The CLTP includes the same features
as the CLT, but is designed for use
with pocket slip liner systems.
H YDRAULIC- SET I SOLATION PACKER
The Hydraulic-set Isolation
Packer (HLT) is run on a second
trip to isolate leaks at the liner top.
Hydraulic-setting is beneficial in
highly deviated wellbores where
adequate slack-off force cannot
be applied. The HLT is used after
the liner has been run, cemented
and the liner tieback receptacle
seal bore cleaned out. The HLT
seals into the existing liner tieback
receptacle and is set with a hydrau-
lic-setting tool, sealing the annular
area between the liner and casing.
It also provides a new tieback
receptacle for future operations.
