Demogoblin Appearance:

Demogoblins are a subterranean type of monster, considered to be devolved goblins. Similar to a

normal goblin, demogoblins have long, angular heads. Their skulls have grown over where their eyes
used to be as an adaptation of dwelling in pitch black. Instead, they have developed heightened hearing
and a form of echolocation.
These creatures are sinewy muscle despite their overall weakness. A demogoblins strength is not in its
individual prowess but instead in its numbers when attacking. They run on both hands and feet, covering
large distances overnight accompanied by other goblinoids.

Behavior:
While not hostile to other goblinoids, demogoblins surface from their tunnels at night when food is
scarce. They are often scavenging for food within caves, or with a goblin scout serving as a companion or
mount.
Visual inspiration:
I wanted to illustrate that these demogoblins are not the cute fantasy goblins you’re used to. They look
like shorter devolved humans. Skinny from a lack of food and nutrition. You will see in this illustration
and the next that I really like this head shape for them. I particularly like the first image.

The goblins have no eyes or external ears. This makes them look almost alien and I want to keep that
idea.
However, demogoblins are not like normal goblins. They do not use tools, speak in words, or walk on
two feet. They are much larger than a goblin though
