2. Salama collaborated with me by maintaining her communication line open.
3. Salama followed her lesson plan.
4.
Areas for improvement:

1. Please update me also as to how you are collaborating with your MST.

Planning for Learning

Strengths:

1. Salama prepared a detailed lesson plan as EPC 4406 Booklet stipulates it.
2. The lesson made use of the word “speak”, “create”, and “make” as its objectives. These are
measurable verbs.
3. Groupings was implemented to materialize differentiated activities.

Areas for improvement:

4.
Managing Learning

Strengths:
1. Salama checked her class attendance while the pupils were doing an assessment.
2. Salama put on the floor lots of reminders for her pupils before she started her lesson.
3. The objective of the lesson was told to the class, giving emphasis on the Bloom’s Taxonomy.
4. Salama’s voice quality is really nice, but she needs to project a little bit her voice.
5. Her pupils were constantly made aware of the time element each time there was an activity being
done.
6. Communicative activities were given to her pupils through the use of language structures.
7. Salama constantly praised her pupils for doing a good job in their activities.

Implementing Learning

Strengths:

1. Review of the past lesson on the story about Lubna and Pebble. The teacher asked comprehension
questions to review the lesson.
2. The teacher-pupil interaction was well facilitated.
3. Salama can manage very well her teaching through the use of technology such as Nearpod, Padlet,
Powerpoint, etc.
4. A link to the video on Nearpod was given to her pupils.
5. Salama knows her subject matter.
6. It was good that he teacher provided her pupils with structures (My favorite toy is______; My
toy’s name is _______). This allows acquisition of the structure as the pupils supplied the blank
space with a word.
7. Differentiated activities were provided her class by grouping them into 3 and coding them
according to colors. She explained to her class the instructions before they went to their respective
groups.

Areas for improvement:

1. It is best to process the viewing-reading-listening text by pausing the video once in a while to ask
the pupils comprehension question or by asking them to write down the objects they saw. It might
be difficult for them to remember all the objects of the video as the video is long (2.39 minutes).
