Reflections

The technology strategy meetings typically covered a wide breadth of content.

Rather that cover each topic, it would instead be best to identify examples relating to
each of the administrator standards:

Visionary Leadership: Examples of Visionary Leadership include developing

procedures for emergency response and coordinating with the appropriate
departments as needed and also making preparations for instructional standardized
testing.

Digital Age Learning: Examples of digital age learning include exploring new
streaming technologies for the athletics departments and providing the information
and infrastructure necessary to transition to standardized testing online.

Digital Citizenship: Examples include reviewing the password policy for staff and
developing a communications and password recovery option for staff to update their
account information.

Professional Practice: Examples include reviewing staff onboarding procedure and

process and ensuring staff have access to and are trained in the use of district
technologies in accordance with the responsibilities of their position.

Systemic Improvement: Examples include review of current alert systems and

procedures while also looking into enhances of our disaster recovery systems in the
event of catastrophic failures.
