I can listen to a song and identify circle, triangle, square, and
rectangle.
I can name the shape regardless of the way its positioned and its
size.
GRADE; Kindergarten
MATERIALS: Video, Bingo Call Out Sheet, Bingo Cards, Shape
Jumble worksheet, crayons, Bingo prizes

PROCESS:
1. Connect to pervious lesson about shapes
2. Show video: Shape song
3. Ask what shapes were shown in the video
4. Distribute Bingo sheet and play cards
5. Play bingo
6. Distribute Shape Jumble worksheet, crayons
7. Students begin coloring the shapes according to the color
listed
8. Students then count the shapes and record
9. Share the number of triangles, circles, and squares found as
whole group.
10. Ask how many sides a triangle has, how many sides a
square has, how many sides a circle has, and how many sides a
rectangle has. Thumbs up if you agree. Thumbs down if you
disagree.

DIFFERENTIATION:
Let students work with a partner, replay the video if needed, just
have them color the shapes by color and not count, have them color
over the word red with a red crayon, color over the word blue with
blue crayon, and color over green with a green crayon.

ASSESSMENT:
Jumble Shape worksheet, color, then count by shape, and record,
share in whole group the numbers of circles, triangles, and squares.
