Project 4: Visual Social

Project tasks
QUESTION 1
(1st Idea)

Me and my partner Wards have an online business where we sell out dresses with different type
of fabric, some types of fabrics need special care when washing & ironing them. We decided to
put an A3 tutorials card on how to take care of the dress without damaging & the material.

(2nd Idea)
I recently opened a new business called Mojito Picnic Box; I pack all the ingredient needed to
make 3 types of Mojitos depending upon the customers request. The box includes a bag of ice
cubes, clear plastic cups with lid, syrup flavor, soda, straws, slices of lemon, fresh mint and
measuring syrup cup. Finally, I add a card which has all the instruction.

QUESTION 2
(1st idea)
Three girls with different skin tone wearing 3 dresses with different colors and design. Under
that a saying is written bold” You are beautiful with & with out our dresses, you deserve it ".

(2nd Idea)
Three cups with three different types of mojitos, 2 placed on the back side and one in the front
under that” Refresh yourself everywhere and anywhere with our Mojitos " written with bold font.

QUESTION 3
- Visual storytelling on social media platforms which allows you to connect with your
audience with compelling images that capture the value and the story behind your brand.
- Videos for visual storytelling on platforms like Facebook knowing that over 8 billion
people views videos on Facebook daily.

QUESTION 4
(1st Idea)

- A women who is always depressed and wears baggy black cloths.


- A friend comes to visit with a box gift in her hand, opens it and a colorful dress comes
out of that box bringing a lot of joy to the women and brings her back to life when
wearing it.

(2nd Idea)
- Ahmed the adventurer who always loves to camp, visits new places by car that sometimes
take about 2-4 hrs. by road.
- Ahmed is a Mojito person and he always used to buy his favorite passion Mojito from the
city before the road trop but the issue was that after an hour or two the taste would change.
- Until one day he knew about the Mojito Travel Box and decided to purchase it and since
then whenever he goes on a road trip the first thing, he thinks about is the travel box because
he gets to do it himself anytime & drink for as much as he wants.

QUESTION 5
( 1st Idea)

Having all the gorgeous customers who bought any dress from the shop to take pretty pictures of
themselves and post it on their Instagram account with mentioning our account. We'll repost all
the picture letting our followers capture the prettiest photo and the highest number of captured
photo will win from us a gift.

(2nd Idea)

Getting the customers who purchased the Mojito Travel Box to take creative pictures of the box
and creative video while preparing Mojito mixes. The most creative picture & video will get 50
% discount for the next the purchase

TOPIC 2
Question one:
The idea is how to make delicious healthy drinks I will create a video that shows a step-by-step
process this video will teaches the customers how to do excellent drinks by their self.
Consumer perspective: it’s a healthy and delicious drink it’s the kids favorite and it has all
flavors that we love .
Brand perspective: the making of healthy drinks with natural organic product from local farms
and its 100% natural and full of nutrients.

Question two:
The idea is DIY mojito gift basket the video will contain all the things needed to make this gift
and their prices and all the places you can buy the items from. The video will also teach the
audience how to make a DIY basket using recycled boxes and hard paper and it will also
demonstrate way to arrange the basket and decorate it with flowers and ribbons and things that
are available in every house at minimum cost.

Question three:
1- Raise awareness about social media and its effect on teenagers in Facebook live or
YouTube channel. Its fantastic way for the brand to expand their audience is to shine the
spotlight on others. When the goal of your live stream is to raise awareness for causes
that matter to you and your business, you’ll reach people that have similar values. The
video will contain people that talk about their kids experiences and it will also contain
some advices from different therapists at the end the brand will offer free therapeutic
sessions for those who needs it.

2- Live Q&A (Questions & Answers) video streaming on Instagram about topics related to
the business or interests. It’s a great way to engage with your audience and establish
yourself as an expert and answer all the questions related too my product and pricing and
its quality etc.

Question four:
- I will create a video to educate people about teens and social media problems and
benefits as we know Social media has given teens the ability to instantly connect with
others and share their lives through photos, videos and status updates. Teens themselves
describe these platforms as a key tool for connecting and maintaining relationships, being
creative, and learning more about the world. But they also must contend with more
negative aspects of social media use, such as drama and bullying or feeling pressure to
present themselves in a certain way.

Question five:
1- Using reviews to get more leads and sales: People trust peer reviews and ratings
more than the reviews and ratings given by professionals.

2- Users create and share posts, videos, texts and photos in their platforms featuring the
brand, exposing the products and services to their audience. Better yet, you can share that
content with your own audience, boosting credibility in the process.

TOPIC 3
1- Short form video
(FIRST IDEA)
A woman that owns a women’s cloth shop has been going through a tough time with what the
world has been going through because of Covid 19 Virus and because there has been a long-term
lockdown, she has lost a-lot during this time. So, her teenage daughter tells her about an idea of
setting up an online shop so people can order the dresses online without the need of visiting the
shop.

(SECOND IDEA)
A new hair straightener brand that has no buttons, it works by letting the straightener itself to
adjust by the type of hair you have without damaging the hair or weaken it. If it doesn’t sense
that you are using it, it switches off by itself after 30 minutes.
2- Mid-length video
(FIRST IDEA)
A woman who owns a clothes shop, who always has to take every single dress to the laundry
shop which is 10 min away from hers shop. This trip is always her worst ride; therefore, comes
this app which has to be downloaded easily. Register with her email, name, phone number and
set her shop location then she has to choose the number of dresses that need to be dry cleaned
and within 15 mins the truck will come pick her order & after 2 days then dresses will be be
brought to the shop door step with an online payment machine.

(SECOND IDEA)

A hair Tutorial short video on how to use my homemade garlic oil on the hair step by step from
the:
• The way of applications of the oil in the hair
• The acceptable leave in hours depending upon the type of the hair of the customer
• The exact steps of how to wash the hair so that no smell would be stuck in the hair.

3- Long form video

MARYAM who a women’s cloth shop has been thinking for a really long time to have an
advertising campaign for her shop so that more people would know more about it. She saved an
amount of 150$ for the advertisement, she met with some people who work in a Newspaper
company where they took a-lot of her time with the explanation about the concept of her shop
and showing them pictures of her shop, paid them more than what she had saved and when the
advertisement was published, she got zero response which made her think a-lot about the mistake
she made when she took the decision to advertise with the newspaper. Maryam did a research on
how to get customers without spending lots of money with Ads. She found out nowadays people
use digital Ads that have relation with social media such as Instagram promotion, snapchat short
video and lots more. A decision has been taken by Maryam that every 2 months she would
choose one of the digital marketing Advertisement and promote for her business.
