Read the story together
Homework: Plot Questions; discuss and plan the “Group Movie Project”

Group Movie Project

In a group of no more than 3 students, condense the story into a 3-5 minute video.
You many act of the scene, use Powerpoint, or any other digital means to produce
your project. One person in your group must have a video camera and/or a
computer to do the project. You can either create a webpage to play the movie on,
or save it to a flash drive properly formatted for a Mac. Talk to me if this is an
issue. If you have computers class right now, use your extra time in there to work
on this. Be creative! The class will watch all the videos.

Day 2:
Correct homework, discuss
Class work: Work in groups to complete the Irony and Literary Elements handout.
Group discussion: discuss the handout (irony mood, symbolism, foreshadowing,
etc.)
Homework: Thinking about the Selection 1-10

Day 3:
Correct homework, discuss
Class work: Work in groups to complete the vocabulary assignment. It is due
tomorrow. Highlight your vocab words in the story.
Homework: Work on your “Group Movie Project”

Day 4:
Correct and discuss vocabulary assignment, which is due today
Discuss Study Questions and review Study Guide
Class work: Watch the movie of the story
Homework: Work on your “Group Movie Project”

Day 5:
Tell Tale Heart Test
Watch the class videos
