1.3.
PROVISIONS
FOR FIRE
FIGHTING &
RESCUE FOR
FIREMAN The
fire man access
place (FAP) shall
be provided on the
walls, windows,
verandahs etc.
places to
firefighting and
rescue work for
fireman. The FAP
shall be easily
accessible from
outside and inside
of the building. If
the building has
any provision for
FAP, easily
breakable glass
windows or others
shall be provided.
The FAP entrance
shall not be
obstructed by any

fire man access,
automatic fire
protection system,
wet riser and dry
riser system shall
have to provided
