SKILLS ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOP ON CONTEXTUALIZED ASSESSMENT AND

GRADING IN THE LIGHT OF BASIC EDUCATION LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN
1. In response to the commitment in ensuring the implementation of the Learning

Continuity Plan under the new normal education, this office will be conducting Skills
Enhancement Workshop on Contextualized Assessment and Grading in two (2) batches
in identified schools as venue.
 Batch 1- Calbayog 1,2,3, 4, 5 and 6 districts - December 15, 2020
 Batch 2 – Oquendo 1.2, 3 and Tinambacan 1, 2, 3 districts - Dec. 16, 2020
2. The workshop aims to

a. Understand the salient provision of DO 031 s.2020 .
b. Enhance skills and competence on developing contextualized assessment and
grading and differentiated instruction.
c. Appreciate the importance of contextualized assessment and grading.
d. Develop assessment materials that address the current need of learners under
the new normal scheme.
e. Roll-out the skills enhancement workshop on contextualized assessment and
grading in the district.
3. Participants to the activity are the Public School District Supervisors, Schools Heads
and Master Teachers/Specialized Teachers as stipulated in the enclosure. Further, this
memorandum serves as Travel Order for the participants.
4. There is no registration Fee. Actual travel and incidental expenses of the participants
shall be charged against School MOOE while training materials, meals and snacks shall
be charged against 2020 CID INSET Fund which are subject to the availability and
auditing rules and regulations.
