0 YOUR PROJECT “TEAM”

3.1 Your Project “Team” as a Course Requirement

As a general rule, no one knows everything. In most colleges, the Project

Feasibility Study course is a GROUP WORK. The members therefore must be able
to work cohesively and must possess skills that will cover all the different aspects
of the study.

A group of three is the most ideal for a project feasibility study team though your
adviser has the final word on the number of members. A minimum number would
assure more equal workloads, cohesion and learning for each member of your
team.

First of all, you must choose a Team Leader. His or her responsibility is to lead in
the planning, organization, direction, and supervision of all the activities until the
Study is complete. He/She will also be in-charge of coordinating with outside
experts and specialists who will provide valuable materials and assistance to your
“Team”.

The outside experts and specialists may be:

a. Lawyers, who will provide valuable legal information and advises;

b. Corporate Managers, who could help propose operations and management
strategies including marketing and production schemes and proposal/designs;
c. Engineers and Contractors, who could help make construction estimates and
other technical expenses for your project’s buildings and offices;
d. Accountants, who will be very helpful in the proposal, design and management
strategies of your project’s financial requirements and management
operations; and
e. Extension Officers. These are various professionals who could provide direct
assistance in the requirements and design of your project’s socio-economic
reputation within the community.
Your Course Adviser will be the most important part of your Project Team. He/She will be there
to personally guide you in making the final proposals and decisions of your Project Study.
3.2 The Project “Team” for Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs or would-be entrepreneurs usually need a project feasibility study as a

requirement for a bank loan. As most of these businessmen and women normally leave the
making of their Study to a Management Consultancy Firm (or a professional Project Feasibility
Study maker), they never bother to learn, much more read the contents of the finished work.

A Project Feasibility Study to one’s intended business concern is now very important not only as
a mere requirement for a financial loan, but also to obtain actual knowledge of the operations of
the new business. With a very competitive market in today’s economy, one needs to know a lot
of not only the operations but the industry of business of any future undertaking.

This is where the importance of a Project Feasibility Study comes in. If the study is consigned to
a Management Consultancy firm, or a professional Project Feasibility maker, it is very important
that the consignor study the Proposed operations of the finished work. Or, why not be a part of
the Team that will make your Project Feasibility Study?
