16 DAYS ONLINE ACTING WORKSHOP

National School of Drama is organizing 16 days online acting Workshop from 01/03/2021 to
23/03/2021. Due to Covid -19 restrictions, the workshop will be held online through virtual medium.

Applications are invited for the Workshop from eligible candidates.

Total Number of seats – 100 only
Eligibility & required Documents:-
1- Age - Participants must be 18 years or above 18 years as on 21.02.2021 (Age proof must be
attached).
2- Minimum educational qualification required – Graduation (certificate must be attached).
3- Experience - Minimum 5 plays as an actor (proof must be attached)
4- Participants should have a working knowledge of Hindi and English.
5- Applicants are required to submit a recommendation letter from at least one Guru/Theatre
expert.
6- Applicants are required to prepare 1 performance on the Diologue provided with the
application form. Record the same (minimum duration of 2 minutes of performance) and
upload on You Tube and provide the link in the application form.

www.nsd.gov.in from 16.02.2021 to 21.02.2021.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected by the selection committee on the basis of information provided
in the application form and recorded performance piece. Performance piece and form filled
up in all respect is mandatory. Form or performance piece incomplete in any manner may
lead to cancellation of the application. The decision of the selection committee will be
final. The link for filling the form will be available for 6 days or submission of 300
applications whichever is earlier.
Fee:
Fee of Rs. 50/- is to be paid by all candidates for application form and fee of Rs.1, 000/- is to
be paid online by selected candidates by 23rd February 2021 before 1:00 PM. Link to be
provided to the selected candidates.
Selected candidates will be required to join sessions online and participate regularly. Absent
or short attendance may expel candidate from the workshop. One session in a day will be of 2
hours categorized in 2 time slots i.e. 02:00 – 04:00 PM & 4:30 – 6:30 PM, slot allotted by the
NSD only. Play streaming session & discussion will be from 07:30 PM onwards daily, absent
is not allowed in these session also.
