Chief Concierge

Basic Functions : To efficiently and promptly handle all guest luggage and room all
arriving guests as requested and in accordance with standards and
procedures.

Primary Duties :

1. To be acquainted with checking in and checking out procedures.

2. Transport all guest luggages to and from guest rooms promptly and efficiently; handle all
luggages with care.

3. Escort guests to their rooms as required and explain room features and amenities;
ensure for guest comfort and satisfaction.

4. Store and retrieve guest luggage as required or requested in accordance with


established procedures.

5. To know correct method of carrying luggage and proper placement in the room.

6. To know the general layout of the rooms and to be able to show and explain room
facilities to guests.

7. To be “the eyes and the ears” of the hotel and report any unusual happening to the Bell
Captain or Assistant Manager on duty.

8. All guests message, incoming fax, parcel and mails to send up promptly without delay.

9. To assist guests and clients or their chauffeurs in the parking of their vehicles with utmost
ease and convenience in the absence of valet.

10. To be able to operate elevators.

11. Baggage trolleys to be polished and maintained properly.

12. Maintain logbook and control movement of health club masseurs.

13. Adhere to Bellboy Station/ manning rotation system.

14. To be familiar with Front Office Policies and Procedures, Job Description and Employee
Handbook.

15. Perform other duties, which are assigned by the superior from time to time.

removed by your immediate superior according to pressure of work.
