automotive classified website. No Paid Plugins Needed Everything Inside. No coding required.
Software Installation
Installing React Native Dependencies for MacBook and Windows machines you can follow the official
documentation of React Native Getting Started React Native on this documentation you found two tabs
one is Quick Start and other is Building Projects with Native Code.
You have to select Building Projects with Native Code tab now the documentation will ask you to select
your development operating system.
If you want to install on MacBook for IOS development you need to select the Development OS macOS
and Target OS IOS and same as you can select Target OS Android. After selecting Development OS and
Target OS now start installing dependencies.
Installing dependencies
First we start installing dependencies for macOS & IOS. You will need Node, Watchman, the React Native
command line interface, and Xcode.
While you can use any editor of your choice to develop your app ( Visual Studio Code recommended ),
you will need to install Xcode in order to set up the necessary tooling to build your React Native app for
iOS.
1.Node, Watchman
We recommend installing Node and Watchman using Homebrew ,for installing Homebrew go into your
terminal and run this command
If you have already installed Node on your system, make sure it is Node 8.3 or newer.
Cannot find module 'npmlog', try installing npm directly: curl -0 -L https://npmjs.org/install.sh | sudo sh.
After successfully installing the core dependencies for the React Native Development Environment you
need to install Xcode now.
3. Xcode
The easiest way to install Xcode is via the Mac App Store. Installing Xcode will also install the iOS
Simulator and all the necessary tools to build your iOS app.
If you have already installed Xcode on your system, make sure it is latest one.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed dependencies for macOS & IOS.
Now we start installing development dependencies for macOS & ANDROID.For this you need to select
the following options from the official documentation of React Native Getting Started React Native like
this:
Download and install jdk-8u201-macosx-x64.dmg for Mac OS X x64 from this link.
Android SDK
If the checkboxes are grayed out, you will have a chance to install these components later on.
The SDK Manager can be accessed from the “Welcome to Android Studio” screen. Click on “Configure”,
and then select “SDK Manager”.
The SDK Manager can also be found within the Android Studio “Preferences” dialog, under Appearance
& Behavior → System Settings → Android SDK.
Select the “SDK Platforms” tab from within the SDK Manager, and then check the box next to “Show
Package Details” in the bottom right corner. Look for and expand the Android 9 (Pie) entry, then make
sure the following items are checked:
Intel x86 Atom_64 System Image or Google APIs Intel x86 Atom System Image
Next, select the “SDK Tools” tab and check the box next to “Show Package Details” here as well. Look for
and expand the “Android SDK Build-Tools” entry, then make sure that 28.0.3 is selected.
Finally, click “Apply” to download and install the Android SDK and related build tools.

Export PATH=$PATH:$ANDROID_HOME/platform-tools
.bash_profile is specific to bash. If you’re using another shell, you will need to edit the appropriate shell-
specific config file.
Type source $HOME/.bash_profile to load the config into your current shell. Verify that
ANDROID_HOME has been added to your path by running echo $PATH.
Please make sure you use the correct Android SDK path. You can find the actual location of the SDK in
the Android Studio “Preferences” dialog, under Appearance & Behavior → System Settings → Android
SDK.
Select Nexus 5X emulator and press next button and on the next window select the latest Android
Version Pie API Level 28 click on Next button and then press finish button.
That’s it!
2. Same for the changing the App logo you can replace the App logo with the existing
App logo but the name and type should be same.
