OBJECTIVE
Applying to become a business statistician at a large distributional business so that I can apply mathematical and
statistical systems along with surveys to better serve the customers and the company in terms of production and
distribution. I desire to further the profit on the products sold based on the capability of the company.
SUMMARY
While in school, my fascination of mathematics and applying it to the world was tremendous, and it has not lessened since
then. In school, I received exemplary grades in mathematics and statistics, and ever since I attended the University of
Southern California, most of the jobs I have held pertain to the improvement of the production and distribution of
merchandise based on statistics and the capacity of the company/government. I have experience in the field of applying
statistical data to improve the income of a company/city while keeping the customers and citizens content.
EXPERIENCE
Business Adviser/Accountant, State Farm
Los Angeles, California — 20192023
I handled the income for State Farm Insurance Company in a private sector in Los Angeles, and I advised my boss,
Angelica Campos, who came to trust me greatly, with ways to improve the company without raising the prices of the
insurance, which was reasonably priced. Also, we collaborated in finding ways of informing customers who were
completely unaware of the insurance opportunities at their doorstep. At first, it was just a parttime job, but I came to be a
central part of the business. I held this job until I left the University of Southern California.
Accomplishments
● Doubled the amount of customers at the Los Angeles location within the time I worked at State Farm.
● Used data and financial analysis in order to find ways to provide our customers with reasonable insurance at
affordable prices.
● Made graphs and charts to present the data to my boss.
● Used data analysis and marketing strategies to place advertisements in the most promising spots of the city.
