(QJLQHW\SHV This Spare Part Notice concerns Wärtsilä Vasa 32 engines equipped with
Bosch injection pumps.

*HQHUDO The new injection pump adapter improves the performance and lifetime of
the injection pump. Compared with the previous design, the main supply
valve and the constant pressure valve design have been changed in order to
reduce the cavitation and the wear on those parts.
Extensive field tests have shown that the new design considerably increases
the performance and the lifetime of the injection pump.

5HFRPPHQGDWLRQ In order to improve the performance and lifetime of the injection pumps in
your installation Wärtsilä NSD is now offering you the opportunity to
exchange your old adapters for the new design. Contact your Wärtsilä NSD
service office or your service contact person at Wärtsilä NSD Finland for
more information on this offer. The offer is valid until July, 2000.
