Should you accept this offer, your compensation and benefits package will include the following: + Annual Gross Salary: $315,000.00 ‘© Health Care Coverage including medical, dental and vision — City paid premium to cover the Employee and Employee's Dependents Life Insurance (2x Annual Salary) “Accidental Death and Dismemberment (2x Annual Salary ) + Annual Leave (vacation, ill time, holidays, bereavement) + $50,000 for Relocation Cost 24-Hour Vehicle + Automobile Allowance of $500.00 per month; and % Cellular Phone Allowance of $200.00 per month, Also, as a City employee, you will be participating in the CMA 401(a) plan. Under the ICMA plan, the City contributes an amount equal of 10% of your salary. These contributions are deducted on a pre-tax basis, resulting in the reduction of your taxable income. Executive Physical ‘One annual physical LEAVE TIME Vacation 20 days per year with a maximum of 15 days to be taken consecutively Sick 12 days per year Holidays 11 days per year Upon separation, the Chief of Police shall receive payment of any unused vacation and sick leave. SEVERANCE The Chief of Police may be removed pursuant to the decision of the City Manager. If the Chief of Police is removed without cause, he shall receive a fix sum of compensation and forbearance in an amount equivalence to five (5) month’s salary and benefits unless otherwise limited by state statute to a lesser amount and upon written release in favor of the City. The Chief of Police shall not receive any severance if terminated for cause, including but not limited to, misconduct, neglect of duty, misfeasance, or malfeasance or if he voluntarily resigns. Page 2 Pension The Chief of Police shall participate in the retirement | plan as under Section 40-351 (1)(c) of the City Code. ‘The City shall contribute the rate of 10% of the Chief of - Police annual salary. COLA ‘Same as granted to the members of the classified or unclassified service, whichever is higher. Relocation Package Lump sum payment of $50,000 to cover relocation and settlement costs.
