It is a fantastic way to find out about the culture of a
different country. Here are three festivals around the world.
1. The Cambridge Festival of ideas by the university of Cambridge
It has been happening in the UK each October since 2008. It is a free festival with lots of activities for everyone, not just for students. You can learn lots of new things on important topics such as Art, Science, History, Global Economy, etc. You’ll enjoy the ideas because the lectures are interesting. The only problem is that it is too crowded. There are lots of people from other countries who come to the festival.
2. Iceland Airwaves Music Festival
It is another festival held in October. This one started in 1999 and was held in the capital of Iceland, Requebic. It’s a music festival. It has many bands from all over the world to present new and interesting music. As well as the music, there are lots of clubs, and people can go side sing too. There are some beautiful natural places and lots of museums to visit.
3. The Muscat Festival of Heritage and Culture
This is held in January and February each year in a month. You’ll get a chance to learn about the heritage culture for a month. You can watch sports such as cycling, camel races, etc.You can also try some traditional food, learn traditional dance and go to the fashion show.
