Before the start of this program, I had an exaggerated perception that I was a person enriched with plenty

of positive energy and potential to undertake the responsibilities. But literally speaking, I had no idea that
attitude drainage or negative energies contribute more towards the success or failure of accomplishment of
the tasks. The training program especially the tasks assigned therein provided me an opportunity to redefine
my perception and attitude in a more realistic way. I think it is more important to assess your shortcoming
before leaping into a newer world of challenges. The program has enabled me to realistic rather than
idealistic through reflection and engagement with people.

Further, through the program, I have learned that focusing on Won't Do attitude is equally important
alongside the Can't Do attitude to trim your personality towards an optimistic bent. If a Can't Do attitude
present you a challenge to make an impossible to possible, a Won't Do attitude gives you an opportunity to
think out of the box and utilize the un-utilized tools of your brain-box.

Furthermore, engaging with people helped me to learn vicariously about the good qualities of others. It
gives you an opportunity to reflect on your verbal and non-verbal communication and adopt the "convincing"
nodes of other communication. Not only communication, confidence, endurance, leadership, and other skills
can also be learned through self-reflection and self-regulation.

Last but not the least, the program has enabled me to understand that knowledge and skills are sufficient
components of professionalism but attitude is the necessary ingredient of success. Anatomically, both
knowledge and skills are your internal organs, attitude is the outer covering that gives both of them the
shape. It makes you look like a "professional".

In the end, I am very thankful to Mr. Ali Jafary and Neville Gaunt who provided me an opportunity to think,
reflect and re-calibrate my attitude. I think whether I am a Can-do or Can’t Do person, I am more a real
person to the situations.  Thank you Punjab Higher Education Commission and YP2G Knowledge now for
arranging this very beneficial program for us.
