The Problem.
Many Americans are going to the
polls, or mailing in their ballots,
without proper knowledge about all
candidate options and/or proposed
amendment changes.

Evidence.
In a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, it
was found that:
39% say that "voters are knowledgeable about
candidates & issues" (2018)
56% say that they "have little or no confidence in the
political wisdom of the American people" (2018)
Less negative than findings in 2016, when 64%
said that they had "little or no confidence"

With the fate of the country in our hands, it is important to
be knowledgeable about candidates and proposed
amendments. All information provided on EasyBallot is
meant to be nonpartisan.

In this section, information will be provided regarding
what could possibly happen if proposed amendments are
passed or are not passed, and what this means for you
and your family specifically.
ABOUT THE VOTER
Users will provide information about themselves
during the initial set-up of the app. Information will
include, but not be limited to, location (state and
county), age, political party identification, along with
policies and topics that the user is passionate
about/interested in. All information will be able to be
changed later on. For instance, if the voter moves,
he/she will be able to edit their location in the
settings of the app.
