WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citizens United filed a new Freedom of Information Act


(FOIA) request with the Department of Treasury. A summary of the request can be
found below:

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the


following information: All emails, letters of authorization, and/or memos
sent to or from or drafted by the following Department of the Treasury
employees: Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen; Chief of Staff Didem
Nisanci; Deputy Chief of Staff Alfred I. Johnson; Deputy Chief of Staff Julie
Brinn Siegel; Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Calvin Mitchell; Fiscal
Assistant Secretary David Lebryk; Counselor to the Secretary Jacob
Leibenluft; Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Public Affairs
Lily Adams; Deputy General Counsel Addar Levi; Counselor to the
Secretary David Lipton; and/or Principal Deputy General Counsel, Office of
the General Counsel Laurie Schaffer including the following terms:
GameStop, Robinhood, Citadel LLC, Citadel Securities, Google, Goldman
Sachs, Bank of America, Salesforce, Citi, PIMCO, Barclays, BNP Paribas,
UBS, Credit Suisse, ING, Standard Chartered Bank, City National Bank,
Principal Financial, Daiwa Securities, Pfizer, Raytheon, DuPont,
ConocoPhillips, AT&T, recusal, recuse, retail trading and/or retail investors.

The time period for the request covers January 25, 2021 to March 16, 2021.

This FOIA request has been received by the Department of Treasury and has been
assigned the number 2021-FOIA-00444.
