1. DEFINE THE PROBLEM

 I. Define the problem you intend to solve. Anser the following questions your problem
statement must answer.
1. What is the problem or need? R= Design an elevator capable of transporting objects and people.
2. Who has the problem or need? R= All people in a building who occupy moving an object or
themselves from one floor to another.

3. Why is it important to solve? R= Buildings have several floors and sometimes require transport or
transporting cargo from one floor to another.

II.State your problem.

Example:
1. People is not taking essential precautions to prevent infection with COVID-19.(WHAT)
2. People from all over the world.(WHO)
3.. People is getting infected and dying from COVID-19 and the primary mode of COVID-19 transmission is
through respiratory droplets. (WHY)
People from all over the world must wear face masks and keep distance from friends and family to reduce
chances of overwhelming the health care system.

People occupy transporting and transporting their materials in a safer and more comfortable way from
one floor to another.
People in a building come to transport very heavy or large objects, which are difficult to transport via
stairs. This is why people in the building must use elevators, which facilitate the transport of such
objects and bring them comfort.
