RE: e-Commerce Project Update

I’m thrilled to have the ability to work on this project for my leadership practicum course, as
well as for my internship course. So far, we have made a lot of progress and are looking to
the future on what we will be able to accomplish later on as well. Here is a summary of my
project so far:

Accomplished between the week of January 25th, 2021 and February 1st, 2021:

1. Due to our previous meeting, I had spent a majority of my time uploading new
products to our website in order to beat our deadline for getting our ads up for the
ecommerce shop, February 1st.

2. Researched our potential program to manage our online inventory in order to


create a dynamic ad stream as opposed to a static stream which would only
update every quarter as opposed to every update with a dynamic stream.

3. Updated our e-Commerce shop with new specifications within descriptions for all
of our boats.

4. Created a cost spreadsheet for all of our orders from suppliers in order to keep
track of how much money is going into the ecommerce and retail shops, separate
from on the river operations.

Plan for next week, February 1st through February 7th:

1. Maintain regular correspondence with Luke via Slack in order to stay updated on
project goals and the changing atmosphere

2. Attend our regular weekly staff meeting, where we will be gathering ideas and
updates on all projects within the organization.

3. Continue to update our e-Commerce shop to ensure that Google has the ability to
index our products and webpages, gaining us rankings through Google Ads.
4. Attend any meetings between suppliers and potential new team members during
the week that I have the opening and availability to attend.

5. Review our product orders in order to keep our webpages updated, including
inventory.

6. Research products we are considering becoming involved with, as well as


companies we are viewing as potential or confirmed suppliers. Also includes
products that we have already added that I may not have had as much time to
assess.

7. Be ready to take on any tasks that may arise throughout the week, I’m
understanding that every day the market changes for us and I need to be ready to
help for the success of our growing division.

any updates or changes that I need to make to the plan.
