INJECTION INTRAVENOUS

Intravenous drug administration is the administration of drugs by inserting drugs into veins
using syringes. Giving drugs that contain intravenous drugs is very dangerous. This drug is
launched quickly because the drug enters the client's circulation directly. The following SOP for
giving the medicine

 Definition

Intravenous injection provides medication by inserting the drug into a vein using a syringe.

 Purpose

- To receive a drug reaction that is quickly absorbed from another parenteral injection.

- To avoid failure

- To enter the drug in a larger amount

- In the arms (basalika vein and cephalic vein)

- In the limbs (saphenous vein)

- In the neck (jugular vein)

- On the head (frontal vein or temporal vein)
