Injection pump venting screw

Engine type This operating instruction concerns WÄRTSILÄ® Vasa 32 and 32LN
engines fitted with L’Orange injection pumps.

General L’Orange injection pumps are fitted with an air venting screw (part number
165 160). For safety reasons, it is important to torque the screw properly
every time it has been opened. Note that normally it is not necessary to vent
the fuel system e.g. after service work.

Instructions Tighten all screws to the correct torque as stated in the instruction manual
chapter 07. Use only Wärtsilä supplied soft steel seal rings (part number
165 061).

Update the instruction manual with the enclosed new page for chapter 07,
Tightening Torques and Use of Hydraulic tools.
