Pricing and Comparative information:

One of the very unique and convenient feature offered by Flipkart is the comparison feature
and the rating given to this feature by customers is around 7.3 which can be due to:
 Customers can easily compare similar items side by side in terms of price, size, type,
battery, features, memory, reviews etc in case of electronic items.
 Customers when are in confusion about which product to buy when much similarity exits
between chosen products then this feature comes to rescue.
 Comparison can be between all the features where a customer can view all product
details and uncommon features (differences) too thus allowing the customer to quickly
reach a conclusion.
 This feature is not used much by customers so the rating is not upto mark
 Only few customers who are in electronic segment of Flipkart can use this facility.

Recommendation:
 The comparing feature prevails only for electronic products so it can be extended to other
products like apparel, medicines etc too.
 Review category should not be added in this feature as there is no symmetry and
customer might get more confused.
Ease of Transaction/Product Returns:

This feature has got a good amount of rating around 9 because Flipkart offers:
 Friendly Return policy: Product is returned and amount is refunded in Bank account/Flipkart
wallet(within two working days) by requesting for return and giving reason for the same in a
smooth process.
 Flipkart Replacement/Exchange guarantee: When the product is not what the customer
expected, or is not of the right colour or size, or defective or damaged then Flipkart offers to
replace or exchange within
 10 days: For electronics like large appliances, mobile phones, laptops etc. and a few
verticals in Lifestyle
 30 days: For lifestyle category which includes clothing (excluding lingerie, innerwear,
socks and freebies), footwear, eyewear, fashion accessories and jewellery (non-
precious)
 Flipkart Buyer Protection: In case buyers have issue with product but seller is not able to
resolve then Flipkart protects customer in many ways.
 In case the customer is unhappy about product then customer care in form of chat, call, mail
is provided according to customer’s convenient.

Recommendations:
 Compared to other shopping sites, Flipkart provides less time to return/replace/exchange
so the number of days can be extended.
 Very poor services provided in case when the wrong product arrives and
return/replace/exchange becomes difficult (delivered product doesn’t match with ordered
product).
 Certain number of products should be kept aside only for return/exchange and not for sale
so that customer doesn’t has to wait for correct product.
