 INTRODUCTION
Creating digital content in a second language of which one is not native is quite
complicated, not only because of its translation and syntax, but also because it must
be entertaining, explanatory and not contain serious errors in its structuring, below in
this document we elaborate the Script for a Product Review in English.

Hello, my name is Maria Fernanda Valencia, I am from the city of Bogotá, I

study multimedia production and today I want to talk to you about a necessary
element for any producer not only of music or audio but also of those who create
content on any platform.

You can imagine that being a student I do not have much money for
professional equipment so I have to solve these problems with what I can get at low
cost, before I used the typical lavalier microphone, but sometimes it was not the right
solution at all occasions.

Some time ago in our country condenser microphones were sold at very low
cost, in theory despite being a low-cost microphone, and offering many features for
beginners in the world of podcasts and videos.

It should be noted precisely that it is not a professional microphone and, on the

contrary, in the sales offers it is offered as a mid-level and specialized product for
content creators.

 We are talking about the SOONHUA Brand microphone reference: SH-600,
condenser type with 3.5mm jack, functional for any equipment, device or computer,
includes a table tripod and microphone and headphone adapter cable, anti-pop
foam.

This adapter cable is very practical, since some devices the input is only
functional with audio and this adapter allows it to perfectly recognize the microphone
without the need to use a headset or hands-free in the case of cell phones.

With this cable I have been able to record outdoors and from my phone without
having to charge the computer or carry a cumbersome and expensive interface, it
has also worked by connecting it from the headphone jack of the computer and it
reads and records it without any inconvenience.

 And something very convenient in this microphone is that it is a cardioid type
that means that it better captures the voice from one side and tries to reduce the
noises captured in the back of the microphone, so that you understand me I will
leave this image and you will see that the microphone It is “divided” (the microphone
is shown in the hand before the camera and without the foam), however it is not a
microphone that isolates all external noise, so it is necessary to use an acoustic
foam at the back that better isolates the noises has already been tested with the
foam and it works perfect.

I like the quality of the sound for a low-cost microphone, it picks up very well,
the treble tones are picked up much better, like a cardioid does, the bass picks up at
a slightly lower volume, but this is not a problem because you always have to edit
the audio to have an excellent quality, although in this video the audio is not edited
so that you can hear the sound quality, so it is very likely that you will feel the sounds
of the cars, the exterior or the other rooms in my home, because its pickup range is
very wide, so I take in sound coming from the front of the microphone from the sides
and a little from the back, this is typical for this class of microphones.

It is not very suitable for instruments, it is clearly a vocal microphone and it is

not very stable for singers, indeed it is perfect for announcers or for podcasting as in
this case, for music it is better to use mid or high range microphones and for this
price not they will find them.

As for the foam, it is already included, it fulfills its anti-pop function, but in terms
of acoustics it will always be better to use the screen and the anti-pop filter already
known in this medium.

the tripod is tabletop, what I don't like very much is that it falls constantly, it is
not very stable, but hey it is a gift for buying it so it cannot be avoided, there are
more stable bases in the market and cheaper but for the price and use that is given
is perfect, just don't try to move it a lot.
 In conclusion, it works for podcasts and videos, it is not a professional
microphone, it has a pleasant quality for such a low cost and it is very practical to
load and record in other places without the need to carry equipment or interfaces, it
is practical and according to the needs Today, but if you need to take your content to
a higher level, you should think about mid-to-high-end microphones from well-known
brands.
