presence in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER
Oh Jesus, I turn toward the holy tabernacle where You
live hidden for love of me. I love you, O my God. I
cannot receive you in Holy Communion. Come,
nevertheless, and visit me with Your grace. Come
spiritually into my heart. Purify it. Sanctify it. Render it
like unto Your own. Amen. Lord, I am not worthy that
You should enter under my roof, but only say the word
and my soul shall be healed.
ANNUAL RESPECT FOR LIFE MASS
A powerful prayer that we offer each year as a diocesan
family is the Respect for Life Mass, which will be held
at our Cathedral on The Feast of the Annunciation of
the Lord, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Due
to the pandemic and reduced capacity at the Cathedral,
people are encouraged to participate via livestream this
year. It is important that we continue to pray for a
greater respect for life from conception to natural death.

Attendance is on a first come first serve basis (125

The Prayer Shawl Ministry
continues to create
handcrafted shawls for
parishioners, their families
and friends who are coping
with illness, loneliness, pain or trouble. They are
available to anyone who needs one. Please call Pauline
at 905-563-7441 to request a shawl or lap blanket or if
you would like to join this ministry.

To become the
people God calls us to
be, to live our lives in
the joy of God’s love,
begins by our “dying”
to our doubts and fears,
“dying” to our self-
centered wants and
needs, “dying” to our immaturity and prejudices.
The risk of being hurt is the price of love. That is the
challenge of the grain of wheat: only by loving is love
returned, only by reaching out and trying do we learn
and grow, only by giving to others do we receive, only
by dying do we rise to new life.
The Gospel of the grain of wheat is Christ's assurance
to us of the great things we can do and the powerful
miracles we can work in letting go of our prejudices,
fears and ambitions in order to imitate the compassion
and love of the crucified Jesus, the Servant Redeemer.
SANCTUARY LAMP
We have openings for the Sanctuary Lamp for the
weeks of April 18-24, April 25-May1, May 2-8, 9-15,
16-22, 23-29, 2021. If you would like to book the lamp
in memory of your loved one, please contact the office
asap. Cost is $35 per week.

in their cars

what your donation is for; Sunday Offertory (SO), Facility Maintenance (FM) and
