and yoke type. Carbon steel body material having tapered plug type disc for regulation
purposes and matching sealing, pressure class 800 with socket welded and screwed and
connections in size range from 8 mm to 50 mm

3.1 The required type of valve shall have electric actuator assembled. Unless noted otherwise in
Variant Table-I, the actuator shall be supplied with integral starter. The Actuator shall
have provision for manual wheel operation & also de-clutching lever.

REGULATING TYPE GLOBE VALVES
1.0 Scope
This specification covers the minimum requirement of Regulating type Globe valves , hand
operated , outside screw and yoke type ,carbon steel body material ,having tapered plug type
disc for regulation purpose and matching seating ,pressure class and size as mentioned in
the table with flanged and butt welding end connections.
These valves are suitable for use in fluids like steam ,water oil, air, and other process gases
like H2 ,N2,CO2 Syngas etc.
2.0 Technical Delivery Conditions:

For all other requirements not listed here, refer “Technical Delivery Conditions for Valves”
corporate standard AA0851403 (a copy to be enclosed by Purchase Dept.)
