Activities
Activity 1.
Find a professional teacher in your neighborhood, friend, family or a school. Conduct an
interview with the teacher by asking the following questions. (Note: for the verification take a
photo of the professional teacher and the documentation that you interview and attach the photo
on your output including the name of the teacher)

1. Where did you graduate your degree? When?

- I graduated at isabela state university. Since 2007, April 01, 2007

2. How did your University prepare you to become a good teacher?

- My university prepared their student to become a good teacher by engaging their
student in learning, student are not only motivated by organization, and have a good
techniques of classroom conduct, they also consider their student to be positive attitude,
prepared organized, effective, active, patient, fair and technology awared.

3. When did you pass the Licensure Examination for teachers?

- I passed my licensure examination for teacher last August 14, 2014 at Tuguegarao,
Cagayan.
4. When did you start teaching in public/private school?
- My first day of service in Public School is May 28, 2018 but I become a volunteer in 3
years as a Teacher Assistant June 8, 2016.
5. What makes you happy as a teacher?
- The things that made me happy is when I an satisfied with my work, student are
learning from me, all my student are become Professionals someday and having a good
attitude and respecting others.

6. What disappoints you as a teacher?

- I disappoints as a teacher if my student or pupils are stop attending schools.
7. What professional development activities/trainings have you participated in?
- There are many professional development activities/training I participated that cannot
enumarated.
8. Are you a member of a professional organization? What is the name of the organization?
- Yes, the name of our organization is Patul Elementary Faculty Staff Organization
9. As a professional teacher, what code of Conduct do you strictly follow? Can you name
the specific behavior that should be followed to the utmost?

 - The mode of conduct that must strictly follow come to school on time, wear yor
uniform, stay on task, follow your school head and take all reasonable step in relation to
the care of pupils/student under their supervision, so as to ensure their safety and welfare.
10. What kind of teacher would you dream to become before you retire? Do you have a
career path? Describe what kind of professional teacher you are along the timeline
presented below: Describe the point as: Beginning Teacher/ Inductee; Developing
Teacher/ Young Professional; Mentor teacher; Expert Teacher/ sterling
- The teacher that I want to become before I retire is unforgettable, memories and
knowledge from me will remain. Yes, I have a career path I want to grow to become a
school head someday. Beginning teacher - are defined as teacher who are. Newcomer in
their career (1-3 years in services) Developing teacher- 4 to 15 years in service they are
the teacher open to new ideas and coutinuing to learn mentor teacher- are the model
teacher who support and monitor learner as they begin an intensive of sustaineed period
of learnibg (15 years of above in service)

c. 11-15 years in service
d. 15 years and above years in service

Activity 2.
1. From the answers given by the teacher you interviewed, is the teacher a professional
teacher? Yes

a. Why do you think so? yes because he graduated from BEED and passed the
board exam he also led a classroom like any other professional teacher. And
also saw in him how to behave like a true professional teacher.

- A professional teacher has a heart for teaching; she or he knows the subject and works hard to
develop lessons that are interesting and relevant to students. A professional teacher is interested
in the school's and her students' development. On the other hand, a non-professional teacher
teaches because it is a job. This teacher is interested in the income more than teaching, and may
be absent a lot or may not be prepared for lessons. Certainly,
- A non professional teacher does no more than is needed; whereas, a professional goes above
and beyond basic requirements of the job.

Activity 3. Reflection
Considering that you will be a future professional teacher, what standards of behavior should you
uphold based on the Code of Ethics for professional Teachers?
- as a future professional teacher The teachers is must model strong character traits, such as
perseverance, honesty, respect, lawfulness, patience, fairness, responsibility and unity. As a
teacher, you must treat every student with kindness, equality and respect, without showing
favoritism, prejudice or partiality. You must maintain confidentiality unless a situation warrants
involvement from parents, school administration or law enforcement, and never use relationships
with students for personal gain.
