Child’s perspective (370 words)

It was so dark when my eyes are closed with the black silk cloth. I suggest my parents will give me
surprise for my birthday, and that’s why they make me like the blind old woman, walking in the grass
with the rigid footsteps, and I don’t know where they will bring me, but I have to be sportive with their
birthday scenario for me. “Hold on baby, we will be arrive”, my Mom grab my hands with her smooth
hands that give me warmth all the time. I’m able to feel the silk cloth move from my eyes, and the
colorful panorama appears in my blurry eyes, my eyes are still focusing to the amazing things in front of
me, like the camera lens tries to focus to the object before it take shoot the object.

There is the river, reflecting the clear blue of the sky, glistened and sparkled as it flowed
noiselessly on. And the trees are adorned with the golden LED lamp like a group of sparkling eyes of cats
in the night. My eyes are glazed when I see my best friends wear the costume of the casts in Allice and
Wonderland to make my birthday more colorful. They come close to me and hug me, I enjoy the warm
hug from my friends. This is my first birthday that is celebrated outside of the house. All of the
decoration similar with the Wonderland. Moreover, there is the group of giant mushrooms to make this
party more real like in Wonderland. I am impressed with all of this, there is no word to explain how
happy I am.

I am amazed with the diamond blue gown that my Mom and Dad give, everything is perfect. We
eat in the long dinner table, and suddenly the special guest that wear the Mad Hatter’s costume come
and make the atmosphere more colorful with his witty jokes, and he is Madison, my dearest best friend
that will make the silly things to make me laugh. I feel my dream is come true, the smile on Mom and
dad and all my friends’ face, make me to appreciate all things in my life, this is my best birthday ever.

Parent’s perspective (340 words)

Today is probably our daughter last birthday party, the doctor say that she is sentenced to suffer from
lupus, so today we will make the best birthday party for her. She always say, that she wants in the
Wonderland like Allice, who is the main character of the fiction story. Our daughter is a dreamer and
bright child, she never afraid of everything. We rent a vacant lot that have the river around it and
decorate them with the giant mushrooms, adorn the trees with the LED lamp, make the most delicious
dinner, and sewing the beautiful light blue gown for her. We invite all her friends and ask them to wear
like in the movie of Allice and Wonderland. We are very enthusiastic and willing to sacrifice everything
for the happiness of our daughter.

We close her eyes with the black silk cloth, and guide her to her Wonderland, her dreamland. We
hope she will be happy with our surprise. She opens her eyes and her mouth is open, her eyes are glazed
with this gifts. She is very happy, when she looks at her friends wearing the costume of the casts of
Wonderland. Tears in her eyes and the big smile on her face, give us happiness and pain at the same
time. We still want to see those smile and the sparkle eyes until our eyes are closed. If this is the magic
life like in Allice and Wonderland’s world, we want to conjured our daughter disease and see those smile
all the time. I hope God gives us the ability to change the situation and let us to suffer the disease.

We invite Madison, her best friend to entertain all of us, I see Madison’s teary eyes, but he tries
to not let my daughter sad. We want to cry now, but we don’t want to show her. If the bird of miracle
come, please come to our home and heal our daughter so she will celebrate her birthday in entire of her
life.
