Dosage：
IV slowly 5ml qd-bid.
Contraindication：
孕婦禁用,早產兒及新生兒不建議使用。
Side effect：
輕度之睡意、熱感、倦怠、昏暈。

to 2.5mg BID
6-12 months : 2.5mg QD
Side effect：
Headache, drowsiness, somnolence, fatigue.
Precaution：
Dose > 10mg/day may cause significant
drowsiness.

Indication：
Relief of nasal and non-nasal symptoms of
seasonal allergic rhinitis.
Dosage：
Childre > 12 yrs and Adults: 10mg/day.
Children 2 yr-12 years- > 30 kg: 10mg/day.
≦30 kg: 5mg/day.
Side effect：
Headache, somnolence, fatigue, xerostomia,
palpitation.
Precaution：
1.Drink plenty of water.
2.May cause sedation, drowsiness and impair
coordination.

Indication：
Symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis &
chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage：

Precaution：
Patients with hepatic/renal impairment: PO 5mg

daily .

Indication：
Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis and other

Dosage：
Adult: 4mg q4-6hr up to 24mg/day.
Children (6-12 years): 2mg qid, not to exceed 12
mg/day; 2-6 years: 1mg q4-6hrs, not to exceed
6 mg in 24hrs.
Elderly: 4mg once or twice daily.
Contraindication：
Symptomatic prostate hypertrophy, during
asthmatic attack, narrow-angle glaucoma, bladder
neck obstruction.
Side effect：
Urinary retention, polyuria, diplopia, silght to
moderate drowsiness.
Precaution：
Anticholinergic action may cause significant
confusional symptoms.
Meclizine B

Indication：

Dosage：
Motion sickness: 12.5-25mg 1 hrs before travel,

may be needed.
Vertigo: 25-100mg/day in divided doses.
Children (6-12y/o): 12.5-25mg 1 hrs before
travel.
Contraindication：
Pregnancy.
Side effect：
Drowsiness, sedation, blurred vision, dry mouth.
Precaution：
Don’t use in children < 3 years.

Side effect：
Slight to moderate drowsiness, thickening of
bronchial secretion.
Precaution：
Use with caution in patients with heart disease,
hypertension, thyroid disease and asthma.

Dosage：
Solution:
2-6 yrs: 5ml bid ~ tid.
7-14 yrs: 10ml bid ~ tid.
Allergy-
Adult: 4mg tid (MAX 32mg/day); 7-14 years:
4mg tid, Max of 16 mg.
Children 2-6 years: 2mg tid (MAX 12mg/day).
Stimulation of appetite-
Adults: 2-4mg tid or qid.
Children 2-6 years: MAX : 8mg.
Contraindication：
Narrow angle-glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcer
avoid use in premature and term newborns due to
potential associated with SIDS (Sudden Infant
Death Syndrome).
Side effect：
Thickening of bronchial secretion, headache,
nervousness, abdominal pain, and arthralgia.
Precaution：
Safety and efficacy have not been established in
children < 2 years; cyprohepatadine has promoted
weight gain in anorexic adults; it’s easy to induce
CNS stimulating for children; syncope, toxic
confusion states, and hypotension in elderly.
Oxatomide

Indication：
Common allergic disorder (eg. Hay fever, food
allergy, urticaria).
Dosage：
Adults- 30mg bid.
Children- 0.5mg/kg bid.
15-35 kg: 15mg bid.
≧ 35 kg: 30mg bid.
Side effect：
Rash, urticaria, angioedema, sommolence,
fatigue, nausea, vomiting.
Precaution：
1.Tinset is not suited for prompt relief of allergic
conditions such as asthma attacks.
2.Because of its hepatic elimination, Tinset should
be administered carfully to pt’s who have a
liver disorder.
Diphenhydramine HCl B

睡意、胃腸障礙、食慾不振、喉鼻乾燥。
Precaution：
1.避免用CNS depressant agents 或飲酒
2.老人宜以最低有效起始劑量開始治療。
3.premature infants 及neonate 不建議使用。
4.以靜脈注射時，每次diphenhydramine 之劑量
以10mg-50 mg 為宜，且其注射速率不宜超過
25 mg/min。
5.有過敏症狀發生時應停用。

Dosage：

Oral-
Childn 2-5 yrs: 12.5-25mg bid-tid, MAX
dose: 75mg/day; 6-12 yrs: 25-50mg bid-tid,
MAX: 150mg/day.
For motion sickness: 50-100mg, 30 min before
travel.
Side effect：
Drowsiness, thickening of bronchial secretions,
weight gain, nervousness, rash.
Precaution：
BPH, peptic ulcer, narrow-angle glaucoma,
bronchial asthma, cardiac arrhythmias.
Azelastine HCL C

Indication：

Dosage：

Side effect：
想睡、口乾、鼻腔乾燥、焦慮、憂鬱。
Precaution：
1.給藥後可能會產生苦味(因頭部過於向後傾
斜)，偶爾有噁心感。
2.避免同時服用含酒精類溶液及其他中樞神經
抑制劑。
3. 使用本品後可能會有想睡或困倦的感覺，所
以操作機械要注意。
