Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap 

Date and Time 

● Saturday, May 30, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

● The Foundry Plaza, Downtown Loveland 
o Third Street between Lincoln and Cleveland Avenues 

Loveland Parks and Recreation 

● This event is a partnership between the City of Loveland Parks and Recreation 
department and the Loveland Downtown District. 
● The mission of Loveland Parks and Recreation is to provide equitable access to health 
and recreation activities for the Loveland community. The Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap 
expands upon this mission by providing community members an opportunity to 
connect to their community and buy affordable gear for outdoor recreation. 

Ski and Sports Swap vs. Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap 
● This is the first year that the Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap has been hosted by Loveland 
Parks and Recreation, but the event echoes the Ski and Sports Swap that has been 
hosted for 37 years. 
● Unlike the Ski and Sports Swap where gear is dropped off and sold by one entity, 
community members at the Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap will register for a vendor 
booth and sell their own gear on-site (similar to a garage sale).

● The event is still a great opportunity to sell and buy used or new outdoor gear, but a 
greater focus is being placed on summer equipment such as bikes and tents. 

Expected Attendance 
● Current expected attendance is 500 people.
