1) By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to comprehend “The Curse” story.
Objectives 2) By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen for specific information from
audio given.
Success Criteria/ 1) Pupils can answer at least 4 out of 5 True/False questions based on “The Curse” story.
Can do statements 2) Pupils can choose correctly 4 out of 6 images according to the audio given.
Teaching aids Presentation slides, Google Form and listening audio.

LEARNING OUTLINES:

1. Teacher and pupils enter Google Meet for learning session.


2. Teacher take pupils’ attendance.
3. Teacher asks pupils to have their English exercise book for practice task later on.
4. Using PowerPoint slides, teacher shows 5 pictures related to the story’s
background.

Pre Lesson Egypt)
5. Teacher ask pupils to guess what they are going to learn today.
6. Teacher then tells pupils that they are going to read a story about Tutankhamun.
7. Tells background story and facts of Tutankhamun.
8. Teacher tells vocabularies that will be learned in The Curse’s story and explain
their meaning.
Vocabularies: treasure, die, gold, mosquito, bite, tomb

1. Teacher directs pupils’ attention to the title of the story.


2. Teacher reads The Curse story to the pupils through PowerPoint slides.
3. Teacher asks comprehension questions such as :
How old was Tutankhamun when he died?
Where did they put his body?
Lesson Development When did the two men go to the Valley of the Kings?
Who were the two men who find Tutankhamun's tomb?
What was the curse written? 
4. Teacher re-reads the story to the pupils for better comprehension.
5. Teacher gives out True/False questions to check their comprehension.
6. Teacher discuss the answers with the pupils.
1. Teacher explains to pupils on how to answer the Google Form.
2. Pupils answer Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) in the Google form.
Post Lesson
3. Pupils answer listening practice in the Google Form.
4. After submitting, pupils are given immediate feedback for every answers.
