INTELLIGENT DISCHARGER
FOR BB-2590/U
In order to facilitate the work of maintenance personnel in charge of the transport of Li-Ion
batteries and due to the IATA standards setting the limit of the battery charge level to a
maximum of 30%, Bren-Tronics has developed an intelligent discharge accessory for
BB-2590/U type batteries.

Characteristics:
Lightweight accessory that comfortably replaces
a full-size workshop loader/unloader.
Communicates with the battery through a SMBus
V.1.1 interface.
Operates via a microcontroller system
The discharge level can be selected by the
operator using the DIP switches on the adapter
(4% steps)

Discharges a BB-2590/U type battery to 30% SOC level in less than 6 hours.
A tri-color LED indicates the status of the discharge.
The adapter will automatically turn off at the end of the programmed discharge.
