Nyåkers Pepparkakor is a family
owned bakery located in the remote
Swedish Lapland.

A place where winters are cold, dark and snowy

and summers are characterized by the midnight sun.
Miles from the nearest city, surrounded by pine
forests and mires, we bake our traditional award
winning gingersnaps, that are sold all over the world.

The Swedish tradition of gingersnaps dates

hundreds of years back and we are proud to let
you know that Nyåkers Pepparkakor is the oldest
gingersnap bakery in Sweden. The recipe and
manufacturing methods are still the same as when
we started, in 1952, and we believe this is what
distinguishes Nyåkers Pepparkakor from other
cookies, giving them their special taste.

Nyåkers Pepparkakor is the second largest manufacturer of
gingersnaps on the Swedish market and an increasing share of our
production is exported to countries in Europe, Asia and North America.
We are big enough to export large volumes, yet small enough to offer
great flexibility and personal service.

Our gingersnaps are baked the traditional way. All the ingredients are
locally produced and of the highest quality. The spices are mixed by
hand and the cookies are cut with large bronze cutters. This makes
Nyåkers Pepparkakor as close to home baked as you can get.
