Key Concepts

 Light is very important to living things. Light energy


can make things change, without it, we could not see
anything. Light energy gives things its color.
 Plants need sunlight too for photosynthesis.
 Light energy can make cars move. Some new cars use
light energy instead of gas to move.
 Humans and animals are able to move around much
easier because of light. We can better appreciate the
beauty of nature because of light.

Shoe box with cover
Blade cutter

What to do:
1. Get a shoe box.
2. Make a hole on one side of the box
3. Place the box where there is sunlight.
4. Look through the hole.
