JESSIE AND MR. HAWKINGS

As soon as, she reaches for her water bottle, a teacher

walks in with a cup full of a dark blue substance. He
walks up to that girl.

MR. HAWKINGS
Mrs. Ross, I know it was you who
tried to prank me.

JESSIE
Oh, please! Do you seriously think
that I did that?
She takes a sip from her water bottle. She gets up from the
desk she was sitting on.

JESSIE (cont'd)
If this was my prank, which it isn't,
I would go for something a little
less obvious.
He turns around and walks away.

MR. HAWKINGS
Now if everyone paid attention to the front
of the class.
she sits back in her chair. He takes his notebook from his
desk and open it. There is only one page in and it got
GOTCHA written on it.
MR. HAWKINGS (cont'd)
Mrs. Ross, Now this I know it was.
She stands up and starts to walk towards Mr Hawkings like
she owns the classroom.
OWEN Oh no!
Here we go again!

Owen slaps himself on the forehead.

JESSIE So

MR. HAWKINGS (ANGRILY)

classroom.
JESSIE And?

MR. HAWKINGS
Mrs. Ross Please leave. NOW

JESSIE
Ok, but only because you asked me so
nicely.

Jessie leaves as if she's the queen of the class.

Owen raises his hand.
OWEN

Mr. H Can i?
MR. HAWKINGS
Go.
Owen leaves the classroom running. He takes both his
backpack and Jessie's.
JESSIE, HER MOM AND OWEN

Jessie is standing in front of her bedroom door.

JESSIE'S MOM
Jessie, I can't believe that. You're
grounded.

From now until you leave this house
and your school are the only places
you're gonna see.
Jessie's mom closes the door. Jessie pulls out her phone
and face-times Owen.

JESSIE
Can you believe my mom grounded me
for a week.

OWEN
One week? Considering what we did to
Hawkings, I'd ground us for at least
a lifetime.

JESSIE
She grounded me 'till I leave with my
dad.

A moment of silence passes. They both look at each other
with the stupid idea face.
OWEN You thinkin'
what I'm thinkin'?

JESSIE
If what you're thinking is that we go
to the "bike park" than yes.

OWEN
So meet you there. Don't forget your
bike this time.

JESSIE
You forget your bike one time and
that's what you are for the rest of
life.
She hangs up the phone and pretends to go to the bathroom.
She continues her way to the kitchen and leaves from that
door.
