The YES/NO and WH Questions (With Answers):

1. Q: Is working as a reporter always fun?
A: No, working as a reporter is not always fun.

2. Q: Why working as a reporter is also scary and dangerious?

A: Working as a reporter is also scary and dangerous because they always risking
their life to get stories for their work. For example, Anderson Cooper and two other
Associative Press reporters were beaten in Cairo when attempting to cover the recent
protests.

3. Q: What the one main thing about being a reporter?

A: One main thing about being a reporter is that one must ALWAYS have a story.

4. Q: How do reporters find stories for their work?

A: There many ways to find a story, for example one can look at other new stations
and see what their rival reporters are talking about and tell their story as one’s own.
One could even analyse their story and give a different take on it. Another example
would be the AP wires, somewhere out in the world, there is a reporter somewhere
writing a story, and they share that story with other reporters, and that information
ends up on the AP wire which one can use to generate new ideas.

5. Q: Do you still have 10 hours of sleep per day if you want to become a reporter?
A: No, I will not have that much time to sleep if I want to become a reporter because
reporters’ jobs are really hectic. Reporters have to deal with the pressure of deadlines
that could put their career in the line.

6. Q: Are reporters' salaries worth what they do?

A: No, their salary is not worth what they do. Wages in reporting and journalism are
not really that high especially for what they have to do. According to USA Today
Human Resources, a reporter would make about $33,000 per year before taxes. That’s
about $12.00 an hour for all of the stress, danger, and madness reporters go through.
