Assignment - 2 Submission date: Week 10

 Students are requested to choose any one of the following questions from 1 to 6
and prepare the answer in the form of power point and present by the group
members.

Q1. Identify the major drivers of supply chain performance.

Q2. Explain and discuss the role of each driver in creating strategic fit between the
supply chain strategy and the competitive strategy.

Q3. Importance of the role of network design in a supply chain.

Q4. Identify factors influencing supply chain network design decisions.

Q5. In demand forecasting why should a manager be suspicious if a forecaster

claims to forecast historical demand without any forecast error? Give examples of
products that display seasonality of demand.

Q6. Explain how do static and adaptive forecasting methods differ? What is the
problem if a manager uses last year’s sales data instead of last year’s demand to
forecast demand for the coming year?

Instructions:
• Group submission (Same group as assignment-1)

 Each student of a group must explain at least two slides from the power point
 After presentation, the group must send the power point presentation to the teacher
 Include the Question, group number, Name of the students and ID in the first slide of the
power point –see below the example of the slide.
 Total marks for this assignment is 10 per student.
• Marks will be given based on the proper explanation, examples, opinion, references, content,
communication skills.
• Marks will be reduced for any late submission of the assignment
