CONSTITUTION AND BY LAWS OF PRMICI FILIPINO CLUB

Preamble: We, the students of PRMICI, hereby form a Filipino Club.


Through this organization, we shall endeavour to promote the field of
Filipino within our campus and local community. With this idea, we do
hereby authorize and establish this constitution of the Filipino Club.

Article 1: Name

FILIPINO CLUB

Article II: Purpose

 To promote interest in the field of Filipino.

 Encourage students to be active in participating in the field of


Filipino.

 Enhance students skills through involving Filipino activities.

 Develop leadership throughout school activities inline with the field


of Filipino.

Article III: Membership

Section 1: Filipino Club membership is open to all current students of


PRMICI.

Section 2: Filipino club provides equal opportunity to all students


without regard to race, religion, gender, age, disability. Socioeconomic
status or other legally protected status.

Article IV: Executive Board

a. The executive board shall be comprised of President, Vice President,


Secretary, Treasurer, Author, PIO, and Business manager.
b. All Club members may be present at the executive board meeting and
may take part in discussion. However, executive board may vote.

Article V: Officers

Section 1: Position

A. The officers of the organization shall consists of: President, Vice


President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, PIO and Business Managers.

Section 2: Attendance

A. Attendance in every meeting is expected.


B. Each officer is allowed to have three absences per year.
C. Officer may inform the President of their absence prior of time. I an
officer has two unexpected absences during the year, he/she may put on
probation or removed from office.

Section 3: Probation

A. By majority vote, the executive board, may vote to place on probation


a board member who fail to fulfil his/her duties as specified by law.

Section 4: Duties of Board Members

A. President: The President will be the chief officer of the club and shall
preside all the meetings of the club. He/she shall appoint committees that
are deemed necessary for the club.

B. Vice President: Assume the duties and responsibilities of the


president in his/her absence.

C. Secretary: The secretary keeps the minutes of the meetings of the


club. Maintain a record of attendance of member at each meeting.

D. Treasurer: The treasurer shall keep the record of activities of the


club. He/she shall have the custody of all funds and other properties of
the club.

E. PIO: The PIO shall be responsible of spreading the announcement in


regards with Filipino Club activities.

F. Business Managers: The business managers are in charge in doing


letter in any business; do follow up regards with Filipino activities.

Article VI: Club Adviser

A. Adviser shall serve as a resource person to the executive board.
