Red River Valley Sportsman’s Show – Fri 3/4 noon‐9pm; Sat & Sun 3/5 & #/6 10am‐
9pm, FARGODOME. Over 200 exhibits of new model boats, RVs, motors, docks, marine
electronics, fishing gear, hunting and camping equipment, lodges, resorts, campgrounds
and outfitters, also daily seminars by fishing and hunting pros and other fun special
features, including the Great Lakes Timber Show, kids workshops, and a live trout pond.
Connect with the Dragons at Dave’s Southside Tap – Mon 3/7, 5‐7pm. Join the fun and
opportunities to re‐connect with fellow dragons. There was a great crowd again at the
second gathering on February 7th! Appetizers provided, cash bar.
Urban Overture – Wed 3/9, 5:30‐7:30pm, Studio 222 – Mark your calendar and plan to

Here’s a shout to the book “How Fargo of You.” If you aren’t familiar with the book, it’s
a bunch of funny short stories about our culture. One of the quotes on the book’s cover
says it’s a reminder to those of us who call Fargo‐Moorhead home why we are so lucky
to be here. Funny enough…The Fargo Beat in the process of developing a book called
“How Fargo Beat of You.” It will be a bunch of short stories about really awkward
situations. The quote in the cover will be a reminder to all readers of how lucky they are
to not be one of the writers for The Fargo Beat.
Steve Sikora to Speak at AAF‐ND Luncheon – Tues 3/8, 11:30am‐1pm, Holiday Inn of
Fargo. The American Advertising Federation of North Dakota (AAF‐ND) monthly
educational meeting will feature Steve Sikora, co‐founder and creative director of
Design Guys, Inc. of Minneapolis. Sikora will present “Confluence” as he interprets his

8th Annual Celtic Festival – Sat 3/12, 10am‐4pm, Hjemkomst. The 8th Annual Celtic
Festival is a celebration of the rich culture of the seven Celtic Nations featuring the
intriguing history, arts and traditions of Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia, Ireland,
Scotland and Wales. Enjoy lyrical Celtic music played by great bands from the
community and region. Watch dancers' impressive footwork. The festival features
entertainment stages, several presentations about folk traditions of the past and
present, activities booths and Celtic foods.
