METCHEM BV is a company based in the Netherlands that
specialises in recycling of both solid and liquid chemical waste
streams. Our primary objective is to ensure that all of the
chemical waste we deal with is processed by reputable, well
established companies that operate and are regulated in

legislation. We undertake both the transportation and the

Supply of new catalysts
METCHEM supplies many types of new
catalysts, manufactured by the reputable
producer INS in Poland. INS (Instystut
Nawozów Sztucznych) was formed in
1936 and is an agricultural research
institute. INS commenced the manufac-
ture of catalysts for use within Poland in the
late 1960’s, eventually expanding to export
these catalysts to other East European
countries. Nowadays INS employs over
400 people and produces a complete

produced by INS are of excellent quality

patented INS technology and the supply
of specialised equipment to improve
existing manufacturing processes.

Our company, which is located in Goor in the Netherlands,
can assist you in finding useful applications for your chemical
waste streams. Thanks to our wide range of international
contacts, we can offer an environmentally acceptable and
financially attractive solution for the disposal of your chemical
waste, by-products and residues. Processing or disposing of
chemical waste is often a very expensive and highly specialised
matter. Our ability to find applications, sometimes within
unrelated industries, can often save considerable expen-
ses and is a much better environmental option. Unwanted
by-products are created in almost every production process.
Often these by-products can be used in other processes, but
you need to know where to find a buyer. We are able to assist
thanks to our wide range of international contacts. By means
of personal contact and prompt and friendly service we try to
keep ahead of our competitors. Our present customers include
international chemical companies who have contracted us to
dispose some of their waste streams. References can be pro-

Supply of secondary raw materials
The high costs of many raw materials are usually the result of overspecifying high purity
materials that are not always necessary to meet a given production requirement.
Often the same result can be achieved using lower cost, less pure materials or even
substituting residues of a known specification. Re-using suitable waste streams not
only helps the environment but can be extremely cost effective. It is possible that we
can help you locate inexpensive materials that will be suitable for use within your
process. Reducing production costs will enable sales volumes to increase, while
maintaining profit margins.
Transport
When a suitable purchaser has been located we can arrange
for the transport of your waste material, in compliance with the
relevant legislation. We contract all transport by road, rail or
ship using reputable forwarding companies. Short term storage
facilities can also be arranged in fully licensed warehouses
if required. Just contact us when you have material to be
recycled and we will make all the necessary arrangements.
Procedures and licenses
There are now many legal requirements involved in the
transport of waste material, especially in the case of trans-
frontier shipments where an export licence has to be
arranged in advance. Complying with these complex regula-
tions is standard procedure for us. Some countries will make
additional demands relating to transfrontier shipment of waste.
We are familiar with most of these additional requirements and
will, if necessary, visit the authorities concerned in order to
agree specific procedures with them.
