ඔබ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට පෙව්ශ වීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලැබීෙම්දී බලපාන්නා වු සාධක:
1. (අ) විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශය පිණිස ඔබ ෙමවර ෙතෝරාගැනීමට අදාළ වූ අවස්ථාව ඇතුළුව අවස්ථා තුනකට වැඩි ගණනකදී අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයට ෙපනී සිට
ඇත්නම්, ෙහෝ
(ආ) පහත 2 වගන්තිෙයහි දක්වා ඇති විධිවිධානවලට යටත්ව ඔබ මීට පථමෙයන් එහි සඳහන් යම් උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක අභ්‍යන්තර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයන්
ලියාපදිංචි වී ඇත්නම්/සිටිෙය් නම්, ෙහෝ
(ඇ) විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශය හා එහි ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා ඔබ විසින් අසත්‍ය ෙතොරතුරු පකාශ කර ඇත්නම් ෙහෝ ව්‍යාජ ලියකියවිලි ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත්නම්, ඔබෙග්
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට ඇතුළත් වීම සඳහා වු ෙමම ෙතෝරා ගැනීම අවලංගු ෙව්.
සැළකිය යුතුයි: යම් ෙලසකින් ඔබ ඇතුළත් කරගැනීෙමන් පසු විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශය ෙහෝ ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා අයදුම් කිරීෙම්දී ඔබ විසින් සපයන ලද ෙතොරතුරු වැරදි
ෙහෝ අසත්‍ය බව අනාවරණය වුවෙහොත් ඔබ අදාළ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයන් / උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනෙයන් පහ කිරීමට කටයුතු කරන බව සළකන්න.
2. 2019/2020 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ලියාපදිංචිවීමට අෙප්ක්ෂා කරන සැම අෙප්ක්ෂකෙයකුෙග්ම අවධානය පහත සඳහන් කරුණු ෙකෙරහි ෙයොමු කරනු
ලැෙබ්.
(අ) 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙය් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක /උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක අධ්‍යයන
පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා අභ්‍යන්තර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයන් ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි /සිටින සිසුන්, 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත)
යටෙත් ෙනොවන ෙවනත් පාර්ලිෙම්න්තු පනතක් යටෙත් ශි ලංකාෙව් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක /ආයතනයක නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපන අවස්ථාවක් යටෙත් පථම
උපාධි පාඨමාලා හැදෑරීමට අභ්‍යන්තර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයන් ලියාපදිංචි වි සිටි/සිටින සිසුන්, අධ්‍යාපන විද්‍යා පීඨයක (College of Education) අධ්‍යයන
පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා අභ්‍යන්තර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයන් ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි/සිටින සිසුන්, වෘත්තීය තාක්ෂණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද
විශ්වවිද්‍යාල විද්‍යායතනයක් (University College) මඟින් පවත්වනු ලබන තුන් (03) අවුරුදු ඩිප්ෙලෝමා පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපන අවස්ථාවක්
යටෙත් අභ්‍යන්තර සිසුන් ෙලස ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි/සිටින සිසුන්, පථම උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා උසස් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යංශය මගින් විෙද්ශ ශිෂ්‍යත්වයක්
ලබාෙගන ඇති සිසුන් සහ ශි ලංකාෙව් උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකින් දැනටමත් පථම උපාධියක් ෙහෝ අදාළ සුදුසුකමක් ලබා ඇති සිසුන් 1978 අංක 16 දරණ
විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙය් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට /උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකට පෙව්ශ වීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම්
ෙනොලබයි.

(ආ) i ශි ලංකා උසස් තාක්ෂණ අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනය (SLIATE) යටෙත් පවත්නා ආයතනයක් මඟින් පවත්වනු ලබන තුන් අවුරුදු ෙහෝ ඊට වැඩි කාලයක උසස්
ජාතික ඩිප්ෙලෝමා පාඨමාලාවක් (HND) ෙහෝ ජාතික ආධුනිකත්ව හා කාර්මික පුහුණු කිරීෙම් අධිකාරිය (NAITA) යටෙත් ඇති ඉංජිෙන්රු තාක්ෂණ ආයතනය
(IET) මඟින් පවත්වන ජාතික ඉංජිෙන්රු විද්‍යා ඩිප්ෙලෝමා පාඨමාලාව (NDES) පුර්ණකාලීනව හැදෑරීම සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි/සිටින සිසුන් 1978 අංක 16
දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙය් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට /උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකට පෙව්ශ වීම සඳහා
සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබයි.
ii ෙකෙසේ වුවද ඉහත 2(ආ) i යටෙත් සඳහන් ආයතනයක ඉහතින් සඳහන් කරන ලද යම් පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වු ශිෂ්‍යෙයකුට ලියාපදිංචිවීම
සඳහා අදාළ ආයතනය විසින් ලබා දී ඇති අවසාන දින සිට දින 60 ක කාලයක් ඇතුළත එම ලියාපදිංචිය අවලංගු කර ගතෙහොත් පමණක්, එෙසේ
ලියාපදිංචිවීමට පදනම් වු පතිඵල ලබාගත් අ.ෙපො.ස (උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයට පසුව පැවැත්වු අ.ෙපො.ස (උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයක පතිඵල මත 1978 අංක 16
දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත ) යටෙත් පිහිටුවා ඇති විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක/උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක යම් අධ්‍යයන පාඨමාලාවක් සඳහා
පෙව්ශය ලැබීමට අයදුම් කළ හැකිය. ෙකෙසේ වුවත් පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීම යටෙත් ඉහත 2 (ආ) i හි සඳහන් ආයතනයකට ෙතෝරා ගැෙනන සිසුන්ට ෙමම සහනය
ෙනොලැෙබ්.
iii ඉහත සඳහන් කළ කාලය ඇතුළත ලියාපදිංචිය අවලංගු කර ගැනීම සඳහා අයදුම් ෙනොකරන ලද කිසියම් අෙප්ක්ෂකෙයකු ඉහත 2 (ආ) i ෙකොටසට අයත්
වන බැවින් එෙසේ ලියාපදිංචිවීමට පදනම් වූ පතිඵල ලබාගත් අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයට පසුව පැවැත්වූ අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයක පතිඵල මත,
1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙය් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ෙහෝ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක පථම
උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබයි.

(ඇ) ඉහත 2 (අ) සහ 2 (ආ) i හි සඳහන් ආයතනවලට පරිබාහිර වූ ෙවනත් ආයතනයක පුර්ණ කාලීන පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම පිණිස ලියාපදිංචි වී ඇති කවර ශිෂ්‍යයකු
වුවද එම ආයතනෙයන් අස්වු බවට නිකුත් කරන ලද ලිපියක් ඉදිරිපත් කළෙහොත් මිස රජෙය් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක/උසස් අධ්‍යපන ආයතනයක පථම උපාධි
පාඨමාලාවක් සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි කරනු ෙනොලැෙබ්. එෙසේ වුවද, යම් ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙය් පධානියාෙග් අවසරය ලබා ෙවනත් යම් ආයතනයක අර්ධකාලීන
පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම පිළිබඳව විරුද්ධත්වයක් ෙනොමැත.

(ඈ) 2019/2020 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා ෙත්රී ඇති යම් පාඨමාලාවක් සඳහා ඔබ යම් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ලියාපදිංචි වුවෙහොත් නැවත පසු වර්ෂයක පැවැත්ෙවන
අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයක පතිඵල මත විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශය සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබනු ඇත.

3. ඔබෙග් පෙව්ශය කල් ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශය සඳහා අයදුම්කිරීමට ඔබ දැනටමත් මිලදී ෙගන ඇති ‘ශි ලංකාෙව් විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පථම උපාධි පාඨමාලා
සඳහා පෙව්ශය - අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය 2019/2020 නමැති අත්ෙපොෙතහි ෙජ්ද අංක 4.6 හි දී ඇති උපෙදස් අනුව කටයුතු කරන්න.

4. මීට අමතරව, ෙම් සමඟ ඔබට ලබා දී ඇති නවකවදෙයන් වැළකී සිටීමට අදාළ දිවුරුම් පකාශයද නිසි පරිදි පුරවා අත්සන් කර, ඔබෙග් ෙදමාපියන්/නීත්‍යනුකූල භාරකරු
ලවා ද එය අත්සන් ෙකොටෙගන නිසි පරිදි අත්සන් කරන ලද අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත සමඟින් ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑෙලන් අතිෙර්ක ෙල්කම්/විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
පෙව්ශ, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාව, අංක 20, ෙවෝඩ් ෙපෙදස, ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට කාර්යාලයීය පෙයෝජනය පිණිස ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය. තවද, බැංකුවට
මුදල් ෙගවූෙය් නම්, ඒ බව සනාථ කිරීම සඳහා ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙය් ස්කෑන් කරන ලද පිටපත (UGC Copy) අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචිවීෙම්දී විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන
ෙකොමිෂන් සභාව ෙවත ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය (Upload).

6. ෙත්රී පත්වු විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙය් /මණ්ඩපෙය්/ආයතනෙය් අදාළ පාඨමාලාව සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි විම.

ඔබ ෙත්රී පත්වූ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය සහ අදාළ පාඨමාලාව සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වීම අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා සිදු කිරීම අනිවාර්ය අවශ්‍යතාවක් බව සළකන්න.
(අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචිවීමට අදාළ උපෙදස් ඇමුණුම් අංක 2 හි දක්වා ඇත)

සැළකිය යුතුයි: යම් කිසි ශිෂ්‍යයකු විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාෙවන් එවන ලද ෙත්රීම් ලිපිය ලද පසු විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාවට බැර වන
ෙසේ බැංකුවකට ෙහෝ අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා රු: 50/= ක මුදලක් ෙගවා ලියාපදිංචිවීමට දී ඇති අවසාන දින ෙහෝ එදිනට ෙපර ඔහු / ඇය ෙත්රී පත්වු
පාඨමාලාවට සහ අනුයුක්ත කරන ලද විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය/උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනය සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාෙව් නිල ෙවබ් අඩවිය
හරහා අන්තර්ජාලය මඟින් ලියාපදිංචි වූ විට ඔහු /ඇය 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනතට (වරින් වර සංෙශෝධිත) අනුව ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ෙහෝ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක ලියාපදිංචි වු ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු ෙලස සැළෙක්.

ලියාපදිංචිය සිදුකිරීම සඳහා රු: 50/- ක මුදලක් අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා ෙහෝ අමුණා ඇති ෙගවීම් වවුචරය භාවිත කරමින් ලංකා බැංකුෙව් ෙටොරින්ටන් ශාඛාෙව් ඇති
විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාෙව් රැස්කිරීම් ගිණුම් අංක 0002323287 ට බැර කර අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා ඔබෙග් ලියාපදිංචිය සම්පූර්ණ කර, ඉන් ලැෙබන මුදිත
පිටපත නිසි පරිදි අත්සන් කර, කාර්යාලයීය පෙයෝජනය පිණිස මුදල් ෙගවූ බවට ලිඛිත සාක්ෂිද සමඟ [බැංකුවට මුදල් ෙගවූෙය් නම් ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙය් පිටපත (UGC

Academic Year 2019/2020

The conditions governing your university admission are as follows:

1. Your selection for university admission will be invalid :

(a) If you have sat for the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination on more than three occasions inclusive of the occasion pertaining to your present
selection for university admission. Or
(b) If you were/are registered as an internal student to follow a first degree course in a state university/higher educational institute mentioned in the section
2 below subject to conditions stipulated therein, Or
(c) If you have made a false declaration or produced forged documents for application and registration for university admission.

Note : If the information provided by you along with the application for university admission or at the registration found to be false or
inaccurate after your admission, please note that actions will be taken to dismiss you from the university/ higher educational
institute.
2. The attention of every student who wishes to register at a university for the Academic Year 2019/2020 is drawn to the following matters:-
(a) Students who were/are registered as internal students to follow a course of study in a state university/ higher educational institute established under
the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended), Students who were/are registered under free education as internal students to follow first degree
courses in state universities / higher educational institutes establish under any other Act of Parliament in Sri Lanka other than the Universities Act
No:16 of 1978 (as amended), students who were/are registered in a College of Education as internal students, Students who were/are registered under
free education as internal students to follow a diploma programme of three (03) year duration in a University College under the University of
Vocational Technology, Students who have accepted foreign scholarships channeled through the Ministry of Higher Education to follow courses at
first degree level and those who have already obtained a first degree or relevant qualification from a higher educational institution in Sri Lanka are
not eligible to gain admission to a state university/ higher educational institute established under the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended).
(b) I Students who were / are registered as full time students to follow a course of study of 03 year duration or above leading to a Higher National
Diploma (HND) at an Institution which comes under the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) or National
Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES) at the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) of the National Apprentice and Industrial Training
Authority (NAITA) are not eligible to gain admission to a state university/ higher educational institute established under the Universities Act No.
16 of 1978 (as amended).
II However, a student who is already registered for a particular course of study at an Institution mentioned in section 2(b) I above could
apply for admission to follow a course of study in any University / Higher Educational Institution established under the Universities Act
No. 16 of 1978 (as amended) on the basis of the results of a G.C.E. (A/L) Examination held in a later year, only if he/she had withdrawn
his/her registration within a period of 60 days from the last date given for registration. This concession will not be given to candidates
who will get selected to fill a vacancy at the Higher Educational Institutions mentioned in section 2(b) I above.
III Candidates who have not withdrawn their registration within the above stipulated period of time will not be eligible to apply for
university admission to follow a course of study in a university/ higher educational institute established under the Universities Act No: 16
of 1978 (as amended), on the basis of the results of a G.C.E.(A/L) Examination held in a later year, as they come under 2(b) I above.
(c) No student who is enrolled as a full-time student at any other Institution [other than 2 (a) and 2 (b) I above] will be permitted to register for a
course of study in a University/Higher Educational Institution unless he/she produces from that Institution, a letter to the effect that he/she is no more
a student of such institution. Provided however, there is no objection to any student of a University following a part-time course of study at any other
institution after having obtained permission from the Head of that Higher Educational Institution.
(d) Please note that if you get registered to follow a course of study of a university selected for the academic year 2019/2020, you will not be
eligible for university admission based on the results of a subsequent GCE (A/L) Examination.

3. If you wish to obtain a postponement for your admission, you may take actions according to the instructions stipulated in the Section 4.6 of the University
Admissions Handbook titled "Admission to Undergraduate Courses of the Universities in Sri Lanka – Academic Year 2019/2020" which has already been
purchased by you to apply for university admission.

4. In addition, you should complete & duly sign the affidavit on refraining from ragging incidences which has been sent to you along with the letter
of selection, get it signed by your parents/legal guardian and send along with the duly signed Online Payment Receipt to UGC via registered post
to reach Additional Secretary/University Admissions, University Grants Commission, No. 20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes.
Further, if the payment is made to the bank, you should upload and send a scanned copy of the Paying in Voucher (UGC Copy) to UGC when
getting registered online, in order to verify the payment.
5. Registration to the selected course of study of a university/campus/institute
Please note that it is compulsory to get registered for the selected course of study of a university Online. (Instructions to register online are given
in Annex II)

Note : Once the candidate, upon receiving the letter of selection from the UGC, having made the payment of Rs. 50/= in credit of the UGC, to the bank or
online and registers online via the official website of the UGC for the selected course of study of the University/Higher Educational Institute to
which he/she has been assigned, on or before the given deadline for registration, he/she is deemed as a registered student at a University/Higher
Educational Institution, established under the Universities Act No 16 of 1978 (as amended).

In order to register, please pay an amount of Rs: 50/- online or to the credit of the UGC Collection Account No: 0002323287 at the Torrington Branch of
the Bank of Ceylon by filling the paying-in-voucher attached, and complete the registration online and send the duly signed Online Payment Receipt to
UGC along with the evidence of required payment [copy of the paying in voucher if payed to the bank (UGC copy)] via registered post to reach Additional
Secretary/University Admissions, University Grants Commission, No:20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes using the envelope attached
herewith.

However, if you have already registered to a course of study of a university for the current academic year by paying Rs.50/- as the registration fee
as mentioned in the paragraph above, it is not required for you to pay the registration fee again when getting registered for this course of study of
a university selected under filling of vacancies. Moreover, if you have already sent the duly completed & signed affidavit on refraining from
ragging incidences to the University Grants Commission during that registration, you are not required to send the affidavit again under this
registration.

Very Important: If you are not getting registered to a selected course of study of a university, you will not then be considered for any other
university to follow the same course of study, under filling of vacancies even if you have given higher preferences for the
same course of study in different universities in the application form for university admission. Instead, your application will
be considered for the next course of study preferred.

However, if you wish your application to be considered for a higher preferred university than the currently selected
university to follow the same course of study under filling of vacancies, first you should get registered at the UGC for the
course of study of the university already selected. Otherwise, your application will no longer be considered for any of the
higher preferred universities to follow the same course of study (As per the Section 3.2 of the University Admissions
Handbook valid for the academic year 2019/2020).

ෙකොමිෂන් සභාෙව් නිල ෙවබ් අඩවිෙයහි (www.ugc.ac.lk)  “Online Registrations”  ෙකොටුෙවහි ඇති  "To directly proceed to registration" දිගුව
“click” කරන්න.  එෙසේත්  ෙනොමැතිව,  ඔබ  දැනටමත් ෙත්රීම්  ලිපිය  බාගත  කරගත්  “Selection Letters”  පිටුෙවහි  සිටින්ෙන්  නම්, අන්තර්ජාලය  හරහා 
ලියාපදිංචිවීෙම් පද්ධතියට ෙයොමු වීමට එම පිටුෙවහි ඇති “Click here to go to the Registration System” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න. 
2. “Registration of students for courses of study of universities” පිටුෙවහි ඇති වැදගත් යනුෙවන් හැඳින්ෙවන නිෙව්දනය ෙහොඳින් කියවා ෙත්රුම් ෙගන 
ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා ෙයොමු වීමට "Continue" ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න. 
3. දැන් ඔබව “Registration of students for courses of study of universities-Academic Year 2019/2020” පිටුවට ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත.
4. එහි විභාග අංකය ෙකොටුෙවහි ඔබෙග් නිවැරදි විභාග අංකය ඇතුළත් කර, උසස්  ෙපළ වර්ෂය පතන ෙමනුෙවන් ඔබෙග් අ.ෙපො.ස. (උසස්  ෙපළ) විභාගෙය් 
වර්ෂය ෙතෝරා එම ෙප්ලිෙය් දකුණු පසින් ඇති “Search” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න.
5. දැන් ෙයොමු අංකය ෙකොටුව සකීය වනු  ඇත. එහි, ඔබෙග් ෙත්රීම් ලිපිෙය් සඳහන් ෙයොමු අංකය නිවැරදිව ඇතුළත් කර ඒහා දකුණු පසින් ඇති “Search” 
ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න.
6. ස්වයංකීයව සම්පූර්ණවන ඔබෙග් ෙපෞද්ගලික ෙතොරතුරු සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ෙත්රී පත්වීමට අදාළ ෙතොරතුරු නිවැරදිදැයි පරීක්ෂා කරන්න. 
7. ඔබව සම්බන්ධ කරගත හැකි දුරකතන අංක සහ නිවැරදි ඊෙම්ල් ලිපිනයක් ඇතුළත් කරන්න. ඔබ විසින් ලබාෙදන ඊෙම්ල් ලිපිනය 2019/2020 අධ්‍යයන
වර්ෂය සඳහා අන් කිසිෙවකු විසින් ෙත්රී පත්වූ පාඨමාලාෙව් හා විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙය් ලියාපදිංචිවීම සඳහා භාවිත ෙනොකරන ඊෙම්ල් ලිපිනයක් විය යුතුය. 
8. තමා දැනටමත් ෙත්රී ඇති පාඨමාලාවට සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට (Uni-code) වඩා ඉහළ මනාපයක්  ෙලස සිය අයදුම්පෙතහි දක්වා  ඇති සියලු / ඇතැම්
පාඨමාලා සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයන්හි (Uni-codes) ඉදිරිෙය්දී ඇතිවන පුරප්පාඩු සඳහා පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීම යටෙත් තමන්ව සළකා බැලීමට අවශ්‍ය ෙනොවන්ෙන්
නම් සහ/ෙහෝ ඉහළ  මනාපයක්  දක්වන  ලද  කිසිඳු  පාඨමාලාවකට  ෙහෝ  විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට ෙත්රී  පත්  ෙනොවී දැනට ෙත්රී සිටින පාඨමාලාෙව් සහ
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයහිම (Uni-code) රැඳී සිටීමට කැමැත්ත දක්වන්ෙන් නම් පහත පියවර අනුගමනය කරන්න. (ෙමම පියවරයන් 2019/2020 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂයට
අදාළ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශ අත්ෙපොෙතහි 4.2.2 ෙජ්දෙයහිද දක්වා ඇත). 
 

අ. "Promotion Declaration" ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න. 

ආ.  දැන්, ඔබ විසින් දැනට  ෙත්රී  සිටින  පාඨමාලාවට  සහ  විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට  වඩා  ඉහළ  මනාපයක්  සඳහන් කරන ලද " Uni-codes " අනුපිළිෙවල
දැක්ෙවන ලැයිස්තුව දිස්ෙවනු ඇත. 
ඇ.  ඔබ විසින් දැනට ෙත්රී සිටින පාඨමාලාවට සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට වඩා ඉහළ මනාපයක් සඳහන් කර ඇති ෙක්තයන් (Uni-codes) අතුරින් තමාව 
ඉදිරි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීෙම් වටයන්හිදී සළකා බැලීමට අවශ්‍ය ෙනොවන්නා වූ  “Uni-codes” සැළකිල්ෙලන් ෙතෝරා ගන්න.  අදාළ ෙකොටුවල “”
ලකුණ ෙයොදන්න.  යම් ෙහයකින් ඔබ විසින් ඉහළින් මනාපයක් දක්වා ඇති කිසිඳු පාඨමාලාවකට සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට මින් ඉදිරියට ඔබව
සළකා බැලීමට අවශ්‍ය ෙනොවන්ෙන් නම් සහ දැනට ෙත්රී ඇති පාඨමාලාෙව් සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙය්ම ඉදිරියටත් රැඳී සිටීමට කැමැත්ත දක්වන්ෙන්
නම්, ශීර්ෂ සහිත ෙප්ලිෙය් ෙකලවර තීරෙය් ඇති ෙකොටුව “click” කිරීම මඟින් සියලුම ෙක්තයන් එකවර ෙතෝරා ගන්න. ඔබ විසින් ඉවත් කිරීම 
සඳහා ෙතෝරා ගන්නා ලද ෙක්තයන් ඉරකින් කැපී යනු ඇත.  
ඈ.  ඉන්පසු, “REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERNECES”  ෙබොත්තම ඔබා ඔබ විසින්  පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීම යටෙත් සළකා බැලීම අවශ්‍ය
ෙනොවන්ෙන් යැයි සඳහන් කළ  “Uni-codes” දත්ත  ගබඩාෙවන්  ඉවත්  කරන්න. ඔබ “REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERNECES” 
ෙබොත්තම එබූ පසු එම පිටුව ඉවත් ෙනොවන අතර ඒ ෙවනුවට දත්ත ගබඩාව යාවත්කාලීන වීම පමණක් සිදුෙව්. දැන් “Back” ෙබොත්තම ඔබා ෙපර 
පිටුවට නැවත පිවිෙසන්න. (ඔබ විසින් සළකා බැලීම අනවශ්‍ය යැයි සඳහන් කරන ලද “Uni-codes” ලැයිස්තුව අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචිය
සම්පූර්ණ කිරීෙම්දී ලැෙබන මුදිත පිටපෙතහිද “Online Payment Receipt” සඳහන් වනු ඇත). 
ඉ.  ඔබ විසින් එෙසේ ඉවත්කිරීම සඳහා ෙතෝරාගත් “Uni-codes” ලැයිස්තුව නැවතත් ෙවනස් කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්  ඉහත (අ) සිට (ඈ) දක්වා ඇති
උපෙදස් නැවත අනුගමනය කරන්න. 
ඊ. ඔබ විසින් ඉදිරි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීෙම් වටයන්හිදී සළකා ෙනොබැලිය යුතු පාඨමාලා සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල (Uni-codes) ඉහත සඳහන් කළ පරිදි ඔබෙග්
“Uni-codes”  ලැයිස්තුෙවන් ඉවත් ෙනොකලෙහොත්  තමන් විසින් ඉහළ මනාපයක් ෙලස දක්වා ඇති පාඨමාලාවක සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක (Uni-
code) පවතින පුරප්පාඩුවක් සඳහා ඉදිරි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීෙම් වටයකදී ඔබව ෙතෝරා ගතෙහොත් අනිවාර්යයෙයන්ම එම ෙත්රීම භාරෙගන ඒ සඳහා
ලියාපදිංචි විය යුතුය. 
9. දැන් ශිෂ්‍යයාෙග් පකාශනය කියවා බලා එයට එකඟ වන්ෙන්දැයි සඳහන් කරන්න.  
10. ඔබ මුදල් ෙගවීෙම් කාඩ් පතක් මඟින් අදාළ මුදල ෙගවන්ෙන් නම්, “Pay by Credit Card” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න. නැතෙහොත්, ඔබ දැනටමත් බැංකුවට අදාළ
මුදල ෙගවා ඇත්නම්, “Paid to Bank” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න. 

සැළකිය යුතුයි:   ඔබ බැංකුවට මුදල් ෙගවන්ෙන් නම්,  බැංකුෙවහි ඒ සඳහා ඇති විෙශේෂ ෙගවීම් කවුන්ටරය  (portal) පමණක් භාවිත කළ යුතුය. තවද,  
ඔබෙග් ෙත්රීම් ලිපිෙයහි සඳහන් ෙයොමු අංකය  ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙය්  “Ref. No.”ෙකොටෙසහි සඳහන් කර එම ෙයොමු අංකය  ඔබෙග් ෙගවීමට
අදාළව පද්ධතිය තුළට ඇතුළත් කරන ෙලසද මුදල් අයකැමිට දැනුම් දිය යුතුය. 

ඔබ “Pay by Credit Card” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කෙල් නම්; 

සැළකිය යුතුයි:  ෙම් සඳහා වලංගු “ Credit Card” පතක් පමණක් භාවිත කරන්න. 
i. දැන් ඔබට “UGC Secure Payment” පිටුව දිස්වනු ඇත.  
ii. එහි, ඔබෙග් කාඩ්පතට අදාළ ෙතොරතුරු හා අදාළ අෙනකුත් ෙතොරතුරු ඇතුළත් කර,  “Pay Now” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරන්න. 
iii. ෙමම  අවස්ථාෙව්දී  ඇතැම්  බැංකු  විසින්  කාඩ්පත් හිමියාෙග්  ජංගම  දුරකතනය  ෙවත  OTP  ෙක්තයක්  ෙයොමු  කර  එම  ෙක්තය  ඇතුළත්  කරන  ෙමන් 
ඉල්ලනු ඇත. එවිට, එම ලබාෙදන පිටුවට OTP ෙක්තය ඇතුළත් කර ඊළඟ පිටුවට ෙයොමු ෙවන්න. 
iv. දැන් අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත (Online Payment Receipt) බාගත කරගැනීම සඳහා “Download” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරන්න. 
අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පෙතහි පිටපතක් ඔබ විසින් ලබාදුන් ඊෙම්ල් ලිපිනයටද ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත. 
v. කාර්යාලයීය පෙයෝජනය පිණිස ෙමම රිසිට්පත නිසි පරිදි  අත්සන්  කර  ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑෙලන්  අතිෙර්ක  ෙල්කම්/විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශ,  විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාව, අංක 20, ෙවෝඩ් ෙපෙදස, ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය.

 
ඔබ “Paid to Bank” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කෙල් නම්; 
i. බැංකුෙවන් නිකුත් කරන ලද ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙය් පිටපෙතහි ස්කෑන් කරන ලද/ඡායාරූප ගත කළ පිටපතක් සූදානම් කර ගන්න (පමාණය 1MBට වඩා
වැඩි ෙනොවිය යුතුය).
ii. මීලඟ පිටුෙව්දී    බැංකුව විසින් නිකුත් කරන ලද ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙය් ස්කෑන් කළ/ඡායාරූප  ගත  කළ පිටපත එම ෙකොටුෙවහි ඇති ( )  සළකුණ 
භාවිතෙයන්   ෙතෝරා ෙගන “Upload” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න.  
iii. දැන් එම කුවිතාන්සිෙයහි ෙතොරතුරු වන කුවිතාන්සි අංකය,බැංකුව, ෙගවීම් කල බැංකු ශාඛාව හා කුවිතාන්සිෙය් සඳහන් පරිදි මුදල් ෙගවූ දිනය සහ 
ෙව්ලාව ඇතුළත් කර “Submit” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න.  
iv. දැන් අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත (Online Payment Receipt) බාගත කරගැනීම සඳහා “Download” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරන්න. 
අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පෙතහි පිටපතක් ඔබ විසින් ලබාදුන් ඊෙම්ල් ලිපිනයටද ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත. 
v. කාර්යාලයීය පෙයෝජනය පිණිස ෙමම රිසිට්පත නිසි පරිදි  අත්සන්කර ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑෙලන්  අතිෙර්ක  ෙල්කම්/විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශ,  විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාව, අංක 20, ෙවෝඩ් ෙපෙදස, ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය.  
 
 

02. 2019/2020 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා දැනටමත් කිසියම් පාඨමාලාවකට ලියාපදිංචි වී ඇත්නම්; 

 

1. ඉහත 01. (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) සහ (9) යන පියවරයන් අනුගමනය කරන්න. 
2. ඔබ දැනටමත් 2019/2020 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා කිසියම් පාඨමාලාවකට මීට ඉහතදී ලියාපදිංචි වී ඇති බැවින්, ෙමම ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා නැවතත් 
ලියාපදිංචි ගාස්තුව ෙගවීම අවශ්‍ය ෙනොෙව්.එබැවින්, ඉදිරියට යාම සඳහා “Submit” ෙබොත්තම ඔබන්න. 
3. දැන් අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත (Online Payment Receipt) බාගත කරගැනීම සඳහා “Download” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරන්න. 
අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පෙතහි පිටපතක් ඔබ විසින් ලබාදුන් ඊෙම්ල් ලිපිනයටද ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත. 
4. කාර්යාලයීය පෙයෝජනය පිණිස ෙමම රිසිට්පත නිසි පරිදි  අත්සන්කර ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑෙලන්  අතිෙර්ක  ෙල්කම්/විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශ,  විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාව, අංක 20, ෙවෝඩ් ෙපෙදස, ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය.  
 
 

සැළකිය යුතුයි :  මීට අමතරව,  ඔබට ලබා දී ඇති නවකවදෙයන් වැළකී සිටීමට අදාළ දිවුරුම් පකාශයද නිසි පරිදි පුරවා  අත්සන් කර,  ඔබෙග්
ෙදමාපියන්/නීත්‍යනුකූල  භාරකරු  ලවා  ද එය අත්සන් ෙකොටෙගන,  නිසි පරිදි අත්සන් කරන ලද  අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා මුදල් ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත 
සමඟින්  ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑෙලන්  අතිෙර්ක  ෙල්කම්/විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පෙව්ශ,  විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාව,  අංක 20,  ෙවෝඩ් ෙපෙදස, 
ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය. ෙකෙසේ ෙවතත්, ඔබ විසින් මීට ෙපර ලියාපදිංචියකදී නවකවදෙයන් වැළකී සිටීමට අදාළ දිවුරුම්
පකාශය නිසි පරිදි පුරවා අත්සන් කර විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂන් සභාවට එවා ඇත්නම්,  එම  දිවුරුම් පකාශය ෙමම ලියාපදිංචිවීෙම්දී 
නැවත පුරවා එවීම අවශ්‍ය ෙනොෙව්.  
 Annex II
Instructions to register online for the selected course of study and the university
Academic year 2019/2020
01. If getting registered first time for the academic year 2019/2020;

1. To proceed to the online registration system to get registered for the course of study of the university selected, click on the To directly
proceed to registration link given in the Online Registrations box on the official website of the UGC (www.ugc.ac.lk). Else if you are
already in the Selection Letters page from which you downloaded the letter of selection, press the Click here to go to the Registration
System button therein to proceed to the online registration system.
2. Read and understand the notice named Important in the Registration of students for courses of study of universities page and press
Continue button to proceed to registration.
3. You will now be directed to the Registration of students for courses of study of universities-Academic Year 2019/2020 page.
4. In the Index No cage, enter your A/L index number correctly, select the year of your Advanced Level Examination from the A/L Year
drop down menu and click on the Search button in the right side of that row.
5. Now the Reference No. cage will be activated. Enter the Reference Number given in your Selection letter correctly and click on the
Search button in the right side of that row.
6. Make sure the personal details and the details about the university selection automatically filled in are correct.
7. Enter your contact numbers and a valid e-mail address. The e-mail address should be a unique e-mail address which has not been used by
anyone else to register for the selected course of study of a university for the academic year 2019/2020.
8. If you do not want to be considered in future rounds of filling of vacancies for all/some of the courses of study of universities (Uni-
Codes) to which you have given higher preferences than the already selected course of study of the university (Uni-Code) in the
application form for university admission and/or wish to be remained in the course of study of the university (Uni-Code) already selected
without getting promoted to any of the higher preferred courses of study of the universities (Uni-Codes), you may follow the following
steps. (These steps are also given in the paragraph 4.2.2 of the University Admissions Handbook valid for the academic year 2019/2020)
a. Click on the Promotion Declaration button.
b. Now the list of higher preferred Uni-Codes than the currently selected course of study of the university, arranged according to
your order of preference will be displayed.
c. Carefully select the Uni-Codes for which you do not want to be considered under future rounds of filling of vacancies for
which you have given higher preferences than the already selected Uni-Code (put a “” mark in relevant check boxes).
However, if you do not want to be considered for any of the courses of study of universities (Uni-Codes) in future for which
you have given higher preferences and wish to remain in the already selected course of study of university, you may click on
the check box in the last column of the header row to select all the Uni-Codes in one go. The Uni-Codes selected by you for
removal will be crossed off.
d. Then, click on the REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERNECES  button to remove your unwanted Uni-Codes from the
database. When you click on the REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERNECES button, the window will not get closed,
instead your database will be updated. Now click on the Back button to go back to the previous page. (The Uni-Codes which
you have selected as unwanted Uni-Codes for filling of vacancies will also be displayed in the Online Payment Receipt
generated at the end of the online registration process).
e. If you want to re-change the Uni-Codes list which you have selected for removal, you can re-follow the steps (a) to (d) above.
f. If you fail to remove the courses of study of universities (Uni-Codes) for which you do not want to be considered in
future rounds of filling of vacancies, you should accept and get registered for the course of study of a university to
which you would be elevated according to the higher preferences indicated in the application form for admission.
9. Now read the Student’s Declaration and select I Agree option if you agree.
10. If you are making the payment by using a card, click on the Pay by Credit Card button. Else if you have already made the payment to the
bank, click on the Paid to Bank button.

Note: If you are making the payment to the bank, you must only use the special portal assigned for that purpose. Also, write
the Reference Number given in your letter of selection in the Ref. No. section of the paying in voucher and inform the
cashier to include that reference number into the system, with reference to your payment.

If you have clicked on the Pay by Credit Card button;

Note: You can only use a valid Credit Card for this purpose.

1. You will now be displayed the UGC Secure Payment page.

2. Enter your card details and other details as requested therein and click on the Pay Now button.
3. At this stage, some banks may request you to enter a bank specific OTP sent to the mobile number of the card holder. If so, enter that
OTP in the screen provided and proceed to the next screen.
4. Now, to download the Online Payment Receipt, click on the “Download” button. A copy of the Online Payment Receipt will also be sent
to the e-mail address provided by you.
5. You should send the duly signed Online Payment Receipt to UGC via registered post to reach Additional Secretary/University
Admissions, University Grants Commission, No.20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes.

If you have clicked on the Paid to Bank button;

1. Have a scanned the copy/photo of the paying in voucher issued by the bank.(size should not exceed 1MB)
 2. In the Paid to Bank window choose the scanned copy/photo of the Paying in Voucher issued by the bank using the icon ( ) and click
on the Upload button.
3. Then fill in the requested details of the receipt ; Slip number , Bank, Branch and the date and time as displayed in the slip and then click
on the Submit button.
4. Now, to download the Online Payment Receipt, click on the Download button. A copy of the Online Payment Receipt will also be sent to
the e-mail address provided by you.
5. You should send the duly signed Online Payment Receipt to UGC via registered post to reach Additional Secretary/University
Admissions, University Grants Commission, No.20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes.

02. If already registered for some course of study for the academic year 2019/2020;

1. Follow the steps given in 01. (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) and (9) above.
2. Since you have already registered for a course of study of a university for the academic year 2019/2020 previously, you do not have to
pay the registration fee again for this registration. Therefore, click on the Submit button to proceed further.
3. Now, to download the Online Payment Receipt, click on the Download button. A copy of the Online Payment Receipt will also be sent to
the e-mail address provided by you.
4. You should send the duly signed Online Payment Receipt to UGC via registered post to reach Additional Secretary/University
Admissions, University Grants Commission, No.20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes.

Note: In addition, you should complete & duly sign the affidavit on refraining from ragging incidences which has been sent to you
along with the letter of selection, get it signed by your parents/legal guardian and send along with the duly signed Online
Payment Receipt to UGC via registered post to reach Additional Secretary/University Admissions, University Grants
Commission, No. 20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes. However, if you have already sent the duly completed &
signed affidavit on refraining from ragging incidences to the University Grants Commission in a previous registration, you are
not required to send the affidavit again under this registration.
