PROCEDURE: (Refer to the d i a g r a m on reverse s i d e )

Step 1 Remove d u s t cover, knobs & front p a n e l .

Step 2 I n t e r c h a n g e the orange and o r a n g e / w h i t e


w i r e s connected to the tone c o n t r o l PC Board.

Step 3 I n t e r c h a n g e the brown and b r o w n / w h i t e


w i r e s connected to the tone c o n t r o l PC Board.

Step 4 Remove 4 screws from upper s e c t i o n of sub


p a n e l and i n t e r c h a n g e t h e green and g r e e n / w h i t e
w i r e s connected to the v o l u m e c o n t r o l (R21O).

Step 5 R e p l a c e upper s e c t i o n of sub p a n e l m a k i n g sure


to use t h e hex head screws in the top holes
and the pan head screws in the lower holes .
Rep l a c e f r o n t p a n e l , knobs and d u s t cover.

PURPOSE OF M O D I F I C A T I O N : To prevent front panel g l a s s from


b r e a k i n g when u n i t i s i n s t a l l e d . Screws s h i p p e d w i t h
the u n i t can press a g a i n s t the back of the panel
c a u s i n g g l a s s to break.

PROCEDURE:

1. For custom i n s t a l l a t i o n - Follow the n o r m a l mounting


i n s t r u c t i o n s u s i n g the f l a t h e a d screws mentioned
above rather than the f i l l i s t e r head screws that
were s h i p p e d w i t h u n i t .

2. L 12 Cabinet I n s t a l l a t i o n - Follow the normal m o u n t i n g


i n s t r u c t i o n s u s i n g the 6-32 x 3/4 f l a t head
m a c h i n e screws m e n t i o n e d above rather than the
f i l l i s t e r head screws that a r e enclosed w i t h each
L 12 c a b i n e t .
