caloric intake; Provided an atmosphere
of respect, openness, trust, and
collaboration; Observe for the signs of
infection and inflammation: fever,
flushed appearance, wound drainage,
purulent sputum, cloudy urine. Teach
and promote good hand hygiene.
Encouraged the patient to enlist
in a support group; Administer
medication as prescribed; Paced
the instruction and keep session
short.
RESPONSE Patient verbalized understanding of
the importance of taking medication.
