APPLICATION FORM
Completed applications must be submitted by 15th May 2021, 12:00 pm (Brussels time) to wva_assistant@worldvet.org
The Veterinary Student scholarship program 2021 is open to veterinary students who:
• Have not been recipients of any previous MSD Animal Health/WVA scholarship.
• Are citizens of one of the countries under the grant coverage.
• Are currently registered for the academic year 2020-2021 at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in the country.
• Have completed all first-year exams.
• Are registered in a second - or third-year year veterinary program (or equivalent if the program is longer
than 4 years).
• Please note that first and final year students are not eligible candidates for this scholarship program.
Applications must include all the requested documentation and must be sent in one document as PDF.

Veterinary field of interest Companion animal/equine, production animal/aquaculture/poultry, wild animals, etc.:
1. *A certificate from your university regarding your registration for the 2020 – 2021 academic year
(including date and official stamp)
2. *A declaration regarding your current academic status signed by the school secretariat (click here to
download the declaration form).
3. *A certificate of accomplishment for your first-year exams (or a certificate that you have passed all courses
in the equivalent academic period).
Support letters Please provide *two letters of recommendation. One from your Dean and one from another professor

of choice who can describe your:
1) strengths;
2) current education level and progress;
3) financial need;
4) non-curricular/course activities you have been involved with;
5) potential to advance veterinary medicine in the future.
The support letters must be sent on letterhead of the veterinary faculty including the date and
official stamp.
