caught something extraordinary, a golden fish. In order for the golden fish not to be eaten, he grants
the wishes of the fisherman but warned him not to tell anyone about this secret. Unfortunately, his
meddlesome wife never stops asking. In the end, the fisherman told his wife about the golden fish
who grants wishes and soon all the treasures vanished.
Conflict – For the third time, the fisherman came back to catch another fish, but still ends up
catching the golden fish. So the golden fish asks the fisherman to bring him and cut him to six
pieces, two for his wife to eat, two to his horse, and plant two in the ground. The fisherman is
blessed with 2 golden children, 2 golden foals, and 2 golden lilies. When their two sons have grown,
they decided to set out into the world, and so they began their journey. They met some people in
the inn who made fun of them. The other child went straight home, ashamed, while the other
ventures out into the forest.
Climax – While in the forest, the golden child saw a beautiful maiden and both of them fell in love.
When the beautiful maiden’s father arrived, he was enraged but his daughter pleaded not to hurt
him because he is her husband. The golden child went to hunt a stag in the forest but ends up in
front of the Witch’s house. The golden child was annoyed by the Witch’s dog and plans to shoot
it, the witch knew this and turned the golden child into a millstone.
Denouement – The other child who went back home heard the news about his brother so he went
into the forest to save him. When he found the Witch’s home, he ordered her to turn his brother
