Part A

The images below show a series of events. Write sentences in past continuous or
past simple.

Example:

Part B

Think about when you were 12 years old. Write three paragraphs about the things
that you used to do, you used to like or used to hate and explain why. You have
some ideas in the box.
I used to be a rebel.
I used to be lazy.
I used to work hard.
I used to like all the teachers.
I used to play a lot of video
games.
I used to wear a uniform.
I used to hate vegetables.
I used to have longer hair.
I used to play football.
I used to wear glasses.

I liked going to the river because I liked to swim and spend time with my friends.
I liked going to the park because I could run and eat ice cream.
I did not like to play basketball because I always had accidents and scratched my
skin.
I was always dancing in class, I really liked music as well as singing.
I liked to eat hamburgers in the parking lot because they were the best.
I liked to do the exams quickly, because that way I had more time to play at
recess.
I liked climbing the mango tree that was on my grandmother's farm because it had
an excellent view
I used to play baseball because I like to run at high speeds
